Don't get your boat shrink-wrapped here, total waste of money! They did not do the inboard outboard motor, we had to. And the wrap is so thin, the snow weighed it down and it made a hole in the top. Also, because it was so thin it couldn't hold up and stayed on the boat instead of sliding off. Now I have to go out and try to get the snow off, and I can't breathe in the cold. Thanks for the shoddy workmanship and taking my money for nothing!

Just purchased a new Lund 1775 Adventure and the service was stellar. Angie and Doug (new salesman) were knowledgeable and gave their genuine opinions, but at the same time listened to me. There were no high pressure sales tactics used when I said no to options. In the end I got a deal I’m comfortable with and I would do business with them again.

WOW!!! I called them to replace my 2 bunks on my boat trailer. I was told it would be around $150 and it ended up being $250 for 2 pieces of carpet, 2 boards 8 feet long and 8 screws plus labour. I religiously check all my trailer lights whenever I tow and I have been for 50 years. So, naturally I checked them before I delivered my boat to these guys. They were working just fine as they are brand new lights and wiring installed 2 months ago with zero problems. When I hooked up to go home my lights didn't work and I noticed a 1 foot loop coming from my passenger light which wasn't there before. After I questioned why my lights no longer worked, they came out to see what the problem was. It ended up that both running lights were burnt out, so they replaced them.....for an additional whopping $60!!! So, in essence, if you want to spend $300 for a couple of boards and 2 8x12 inch pieces of carpet, 8 screws and 2 light bulbs, this is the place for you. I am a senior on a fixed income and did not like being taken advantage of in this way. Needless to say, I left there in a very angry state and was TOLD never to come back, which I can't afford to any way. All I will say is buyer beware...$20 for 2 light bulbs??? WOW!!!

How I wish I had read these reviews first and had been smart enough to realize that many of the 5 star reviews were from new boat purchasers and the 1 star reviews were from customers who wanted good service.I brought in my older Mercury outboard for a tune-up and was told it was in great condition" and would be worked on for a cost of $1400.Much later they phoned and said the boat was ready and the bill was $2400. After I expressed my displeasure they did some numerical hocus pocus and the bill was now $2000.I bit the bullet and paid up. As I was leaving Judy told us the mechanic said it "runs like a clock!"A few days later I put the boat in the water and it started well and would idle fine but would cough and sputter and jerk at anything faster. I was sure to use fresh premium gas. I pulled it out of the water and went directly back to UCM. A few days later Randy (service manager and part owner) called to tell me there was water in the tank and that it needed more parts and work for an additional $600.Well

STAY AWAY!!! Misleading sales practices and predatory pricing. Completely took advantage of a trusting senior lady and sold her a previously owned motor that was not appropriate for her needs at a price over full list. Failed even to ask what kind/size boat this motor would go on. Now we have spent an additional $500 to convert this unit to a short shaft to make it work. Is there a ZERO rating?

Terrible terrible service. If I could give them zero stars I would.Very unprofessional, they never take responsibility for their work. It's always the costumers fault. I been taking my boat here for a few years and every time I have to bring it back because something is not working, their answer is always is an old boat" I find that answer to be an excuse for them not doing the job properly. Good mechanics can fix old and new boats.Take your boat somewhere else.In response to your answer to my complaint:1 You NEVER offered a solution

We have had Upper Canada winterize, wrap and store our boat for the last few years and the service has been quick and friendly! We pickup and drop off and they have always had our boat ready when they said it would be! They have also always been able to have it ready quickly in the spring! Highly recommend!

Well my experience was not the greatest with Upper Canada Marine. As others have posted, I wish had read the service reviews before bring in my pontoon boat. They did an initial repair but after picking it up and putting back in the lake, the boat was not fixed. Fair enough, things do not always get diagnosed easily the first time. We brought it back and we were told they would work on it right away. Four days later, I was told the boat needed to be water tested and they were going to do that the next day. After 2 weeks of hearing this, I simply picked up the boat and took it to another marina. They fixed it within 4 days, complete with water test. My disappointment is simply with the empty promises. We are all busy these days but you got to do what you say.
