absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff. i was followed around the store by an older white man (bald wearing mask) while he was in the middle of merchandising. he kept approaching me asking what i was doing/if i needed help whilst i was on the phone after i had already told him i was browsing. he then told me that if i wasnt gonna buy anything i could 'take it outside'???i didnt kno i needed to walk into the store with a purpose. completely ruined my shopping experience i decided not to purchase anything. i had not once done anything to be disruptive to any other customers around me and the man made me feel so humiliated as he followed me around the store with his cart. not to mention i had frequently shopped there in the past. will not be coming again. employee needs to be reprimanded at the very least. zero professionalism and zero customer service and def felt racially motivated. 0/10

Literally every single time I’ve been there and gotten groceries, something is expired. Applesauce expired October and flavoured carbonated water April. It’s actually horrible how often this happens.

Products are way over priced and there aren't a lot of premade meal optionsI had to ask the cashier four times for a bag while at checkout as she kept ignoring on.

Great produce friendly staff especially in the deli department and Hot Table, the women who work behind the deli and hot tables are always so helpful and happy to help with any questions.The young gentleman's who work the shelves stocking items from dairy to toilet paper are polite friendly always answering questions.The cashiers are wonderful especially Miss Julie and Miss Lori.Good stuff good team good food can't complain

Just came home to have dinner after leaving Peter's took two bites & realized there was no chicken in my Crispy Chicken Burger. Guess there's a 1st time for everything.*4 stars cause the meats are always fresh & the store is very organized/clean

Very clean store with excellent staff. They are limited with their options which is understandable considering they are a smaller store, but the food here is so fresh. I love their soups the best.

Very soon its Christmas and expectation is to get a friendly smile at least from others. Definitely from a sales staff at any store. This expected smile only says Thanks and come again take care please" Unfortunately this friendly customer satisfying smile is missing in this entire store . I can't thank the staff at Peter's Independent Grocer enough. On January 5, I had donated blood and felt really good so I went to pick up some groceries at Peter's Independent Grocer in Mississauga. As I was approaching the till, I bent down to pick up something that fell out of my purse. Within minutes, I was feeling unwell. I told the cashier what was happening and that I had to sit down. I ended up passing out twice. At one point Louise called the paramedics and my husband. She also instructed Javier to stay with me so I didn't fall down. He stayed with me and that helped me not be so scared. After the paramedics got me into the ambulance, my blood pressure dropped again. It was very low.I want to thank the staff who helped me that day and who never judged me as the situation could have been handled with much less care and support. But this team was right there making sure that I felt kindness and understanding. I am also grateful for their quick response to my medical emergency. Thanks to Louise, Javier, and the rest of the staff, I am feeling much better.

Went on a Sunday morning, the nice girl working bakery was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Very supportive and helpful! Give this young girl more recognition.

Funny how this store rebranded to “value” independent grocer alluring to community and all that but taxes you like it is whole foods, $3 for a single avocado!? Seen multiple steaks that turned grey and its true about the certain staff following people around.
