Had my new skates sharpened by another shop who did an “”inferior” job. Mike profiled and sharpened them for me. Awesome job! Even followed up with a text a week later to make sure I was happy. Awesome customer service!

As a parent and coach of 3 boys playing minor hockey in Oshawa, I have tried many different places locally and out of town to get the boy's stakes sharpened and profiled. For the last 4 years we have been going to Hemy Hockey in Oshawa and we have found our go to place. Their expertise and first rate customer service is unmatched. With a new location in Legends Centre and existing at Campus Ice, it is very convienent for all 3 boys to always have that competitive edge.Mike, Andrew and Brent all know their stuff and you will not be disappointed. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike over 20yrs ago. I have never met a person that has more passion and knowledge in skate sharpening. He has time in and out consistently and flawlessly sharpened and profiled my skates to perfection. He has since brought that perfection to my son. It's important to understand the art of skate profiling and Mike has Mastered that art. His attention to detail is above and beyond anyone. Highly recommended!

After moving to Oshawa in September it was recommended that I use Hemy Hockey Shop at Campus to get my skates sharpened. For the past 15 years I have sharpened my own skates. Over the course of this season I've had three different guys sharpen my skates and they've been great every time! I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a great place to get your skates sharpened.

I’ve had Mike at Hemy Hockey sharpening/profiling my skates for many years and can’t say enough about his work. I teach skating to many Professional as well as Minor level hockey players and anytime anyone is having trouble with their skates/blades/ sharpening or profile, I send them to Mike. He spends the time figure out what they need, he pays attention to detail and makes sure he gets them back in balance. Mike completely understands the importance of having a player feeling balanced on their blades. It makes such a difference in their skating and confidence in their game. Both Oshawa locations have competent skate sharpening staff. Always good attention to detail. Some cool hockey gear in shop also.
