Janine & Dana were more than just wedding photographers for our big day. They helped with wedding planning, making our timeline, keeping us on that timeline, and best of all they helped make every moment special for us! We laughed, we cried and we honestly could not have picked anyone else to capture our wedding. Janine and Dana put so much of their heart and soul into their work and it shows. We were absolutely overwhelmed by how incredible all of the photos were. Weddings are filled with so much emotion and Janine & Dana were experts on how to handle every situation, including all possible weather scenarios. They are truly experts at what they do and we would HIGHLY recommend them. They are passionate, caring, and absolutely hilarious. Our day would not have been the same without them, and we will forever cherish all of our beautiful photographs!

Working with Janine as our photographer was the most valuable investment we made during the entire wedding process. We had never set foot in front of a professionals' camera before and were admittedly anxious about the experience and what to expect. From our first meeting and engagement session, Janine made us feel very relaxed and comfortable with her friendly presence and expertise. From the moment we started Skyping with her, we knew we wanted to book with Janine. She is passionate, always smiling, and very knowledgable about weddings overall. During the first meeting, Janine patiently listened as we described our rough idea for the wedding, suggested a timeline for the day which made sense (this was super helpful because we were doing the planning ourselves), and laid out in detail her entire process. The engagement session was our first face to face meeting with Janine. This was our first time getting professional photos, so we were a little bit tentative, and didn't have a concrete plan, except for having chosen a park for the location. Janine, on the other hand, had scoped out optimal photo spots in the park before we arrived. She led us around to these, posing us in ways that made us look great on camera. She made us feel very comfortable with everything, gave us room to be ourselves, and captured photos that were authentically us. After seeing how the engagement photos turned out---they were amazing!---we had full trust in Janine.On the wedding day, Janine was fantastic! She worked her magic for us, setting up our first look, then leading us around our chosen photo location to get beautiful photos of us and our wedding party. Throughout, she gave us time and space when needed, but jumped in to make sure our poses had pizazz. Janine's presence added a lot to our day, as she was always smiling, cracking jokes, and just generally being a great and happy person. During the ceremony, Janine was on point, expertly capturing all of the fleeting moments that will provide us lasting memories. As part of our plans, we decided to throw confetti hearts in the air before our first kiss. In the split second while glitter hearts rained down and we embraced, Janine nailed the photo, giving us the money-shot memory that we will not forget. Later in the night, Janine was thoughtful enough to set up a sneak preview slideshow on her computer, giving us an early look at all the great photos from the day. After the wedding, we received our images very quickly---before we even started to wonder when they would arrive. When we received them, as happened with the engagement photos, we were blown away by the quality of the images. We're not the only ones: According to our family and friends, they are completely gush-worthy.Through the entire process, Janine was perfectly supportive and there were no lapses in communication. From the first meeting to the final snapshot, we were confident that Janine was interested in capturing us as a couple---including our personalities---and the wedding as it happened, in an authentic and beautiful way. This was evident in many of the photos, as she captured true and natural expressions on our and our guest's faces. Can’t say enough good things about Janine and Dana! We booked them for our outdoor summer wedding, and throughout the whole wedding process they were incredibly helpful and thoughtful. They were so professional and knowledgeable with all my questions and concerns, on top of that they are both amazing people! Our wedding party loved them both, it made the whole experience of getting ready and celebrating so easy and fun!As luck would have it, for our outdoor wedding we had LOT’S of rain! But knowing that Janine is truly so gifted in her photography, I honestly wasn’t worried at all about our photos. Her confidence in what she does, made me confident that everything would be ok...and it was, our day was beyond amazing! and our wedding photos turned out stunning!! Where do we even start! Janine was known to us by being the photographer for a few of our friends weddings. During our search for a photographer we knew we had to contact her and see if she was available for our special day and we are SO glad we contacted her. We knew as soon as we met her that we wanted to hire her, she greeted us with her warm personality, contagious laugh, & professionalism. We instantly felt comfortable with her and like we had known her for years! Not to mention she also had an amazing body of work to show us on her Website and all her social media outlets, we were sold! From that moment on everything was so easy, we trusted her with everything. She is super organized and quick to respond, during our engagement shoot, she made two people who never smiled naturally getting there picture taken look like naturals. Leading up to the wedding she was in contact with us regularly to make sure everything for the big day ran smoothly and that we would get all the photos we hoped for. She gave us that and so much more. She captured our day more beautifully than we could have asked or imagined. This girl and her partner Dana are so creative and talented and has a way of capturing people in their most candid, emotional and real form, like she's telling a story with her photos. If you are lucky enough to have Janine and Dana capture your wedding, the experience is more like having your best friends attend your big celebration, than vendors you hired. They are both incredibly warm, laid back, hilarious and you can tell their genuinely love each other and their jobs!Through meticulous planning, organization and purposeful conversations, Janine makes it a priority to really get to know her couples before their big day. She made it her mission to ensure she knew every important personal detail we wanted captured behind the lens, even ones we didn't know we wanted! Some of those turned out to be our most cherished moments.Janine is an absolute expert in her field with an incredible eye for detail, while Dana perfectly complements her with his own unique style and ability to put people at ease. They are the perfect team! For two people who are generally uncomfortable being the centre of attention and in front of a camera, Janine and Dana made the experience so fun and relaxed! The laughs in the photos are genuine! The pictures we received showcase our authentic personalities and are still raved about by our family and friends. They are the absolute best wedding investment we could have made. Our only regret is that we couldn't just hang out with them more the night of our celebration!

Absolutely loved working Janine and all of our wedding and engagement photos!! They were stunning and well worth it! She was such a trooper in our engagement photo session in -30C, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of pictures we got to commemorate our special day!! She put us at ease and had great tips about order of events on our big day, and we couldn't have been happier with everything photo related!!

We can’t say enough amazing things about Janine and Dana. We are so grateful and thankful for them. Our experience with them blew us away. We went into our engagement session as strangers, and came out of it as friends. They truly take the time to get to know the bride and groom and their love story. We booked Janine & Dana on the recommendation of our wedding planner, and we are so glad we did. Not only did our photos take our breath away, but we had the most fun with both of them throughout the day!
