I visited Paps recently for dinner on the patio with my family and it was a great experience! Highly recommend. The food was yummy and the portions were generous - I only snapped pictures of the chicken supreme, west coast halibut and the Reuben sandwich (sorry for the blurry pic!), but everyone was very happy with their food (including shrimp linguini, fish and chips, chicken souvlaki and chicken tenders). There were 10 of us and we had good service, the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was also a cooler evening so I really appreciated their patio heaters! Thanks Paps for a great dinner!

Paps is a great restaurant to go to for everyday food. The steak fajitas are always my go too!! Very tasty and definitely filling!!!

So I decided to go give this place another try did not have a good experience on my first visit but I know the owners have many years of experience in this industry and I'm not going to let one waitress ruin my experience.Like I said I'm not a fan of waitresses that don't write the order down but I got to say tonight's waitress was hands down excellent everything was exact as we ordered and most importantly everything tasted fantastic the parmesan truffle fries alone are phenomenal. Drinks were refilled without asking and of course social distancing was maintained keep up the good work to the pap's team.This was my first visit to pap's kitchen and bar. I've been looking forward to their grand opening and finally decided to visit. Very nicely renovated but in my mind reminds me of turtle jacks and the memories I made there with my over hundreds of visits.I know I will probably change my review score the next time I visit I understand it's a new restaurant and they're working The kinks and getting used to everything but some of the staff were waitresses from the past.Very empty for a Sunday night we were shown to our seats where our waitress brought us a bottle of water with two glasses nice touch I like that.Decided to order nachos to start regular chicken wings buffalo sauce extra crispy.The nachos were served quick but the chicken wings were breaded and definitely not extra crispy. The sauce that I selected was Buffalo and it was very good just wish they got a bigger chicken wing but I'm just the guest. I'm not a fan of waitresses when they don't write down the order because both of our wings my friend and I were breaded and we wanted regular we enjoyed them we ate them.We paid and left. I will definitely be revisiting the restaurant as there's a few menu items I would like to try it wasn't the bad experience it was okay that's why for now it's a three star.

Atmosphere:We visited just before 5pm on a Tuesday for a late Father’s Day dinner. It wasn’t busy which worked perfectly for our first dinner out with our infant. Seemed clean, lots of space, booths were comfortable.Service:The waitress (I THINK her name was Gabriella but I’m not positive - she had long dark hair), was very nice, welcoming, and did her job well. She answered all of our questions, spoke quietly when the baby was speaking even though we told her it was fine, and checked in the perfect amount of times.Wait:It seems the restaurant doesn’t have any sort of bell when the door opens, so it a waiter or waitress isn’t immediately at or near the door, they don’t know someone is waiting. This seems like an easy fix, either a bell when the door opens or a bell at the hostess desk. Food came quick but not too quick, and we paid and were out quick once we were done.Food:The food was very good. The regular fries taste exactly like McDonald’s - if you don’t like McDonald’s fries opt for a different side. If you do like McDonald’s fries, you’re in for a treat.Yam/sweet potato fries were great. The sauce that comes with all fries has a bit of a kick, so beware if you don’t like spice. It’s very tolerable but the kick is there.Nachos were great, guac was alright.Double smash burger was very good, grilled cheeseburger was very good but near impossible to bite - it’s huge. Aside from wishing it was a bit shorter so I could fit it in my mouth, I wish a higher quality cheese was used, but it was still very good. It’s very filling.Price:Not horrible. I feel like each item should have been a few dollars cheaper than it was, and my overall bill around $70 rather than $80, but it’s not completely off base.

Had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch with family. Everyone loved it. The portion sizes are generous and the food is fresh and delicious. The hosts were terrific and worked so hard. Hats off. Highly recommend!!!

My family and I have always had a great experience here. There is a generous amount of food that comes on the plate. Great flavour! Clean environment and never waiting long for your meal to come out.

Paps hosted my wedding reception dinner of 16 people. They were incredible. Our waitress Gabriella was very friendly and had a great attitude. The food was delicious and everything was set up exactly as we had asked. They even cut and plated the cake for free. I cannot recommend this place enough. Great food and drinks!

First visit and satisfied overall. Wished we had mentioned to server that we needed to be out by a certain time because after we received our food we waited a long time once done eating to see the server again and ask for the bill. Food was delicious and portions were generous.
