BEWARE: this store is selling fixtures NOT SAFETY approved for use in Canada (I learned of this upon installation yesterday from my master who couldn't/wouldn't install the fixtures)- I went to return the lights and asked for a refund- salesperson unphased by the reason; not shocked at all... didn't even look to examine the labels or lack there of- told me he wanted to talk to my electrician; Wasn't going to happen- then said, he's probably new to the country and doesn't know what he's doing"; (trust me I dealt with his XENOPHOBIA!)- refused to refund my money- I told him I would be letting others know about the kind of business he's operating; he didn't care and mumble something under his breath"

DO NOT PURCHASE ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY!!As many of the reviews say here, this company will charge you and then never send you the product. I have contacted them 3 times about my order I placed 3 months ago. They've told me several times that they will refund me because they don't have the item in stock, but they never process the return. So now I'm dealing with a credit card charge dispute. Terrible customer service.

Lighting Originals are great to deal with - When my lights were backordered they quickly found me an alternative option - Great service

Do NOT attempt online purchases.They may be decent in person (we wouldn’t know), but we are one of many who have been taken for a ride during online purchase. Please look at their Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints. Our scenario was very similar to those posted there.- Attempted/paid for online purchase in February- No shipping details provided- Multiple attempts to get info from seller over the next couple months- No response until request to cancel/refund- Then given excuses of delays- 2nd attempt to cancel/refund over 3 months later. No response.- Late May - Made claim through credit card for seller not producing promised goods.- Credit card company finally refunded purchase price in late August.- Approximately 190 days of pure joy. :(

My first experience with Lighting Originals, and the experience was quite painless. I received my order 19 days after ordering via FedEx. The model I selected was widely available, but Lighting Originals had a very attractive pricing point. Of course, the quality of the product will be the same everywhere, so that's not really a factor in evaluating the retailer. The only improvement I would suggest would be to keep the customer appraised of the order status and expected date of delivery. I sent an enquiry after not having heard anything in over a week and received a reply a couple of days later telling me the item was in the process of being shipped. All good. Other than that, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Great product, very professional service.It took longer to receive my order, however I’m looking forward to work with Lighting Originals again.10/10

The worst communication! I purchased a ceiling fan online which i later found out that wasn’t available and had been discontinued. After a week of waiting for an update on my order, I contacted the store but the salesman said I had to “communicate through email”. I did my own research and found that the fan was discontinued and I called the store and demanded a refund- which I received. Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews and stay away from this store. I wish I’d done my homework before dealing with them.

Not usually much of a reviewer…however I can not stress enough that you should read these reviews before dealing with this company. There was a huge lack of communication and they straight up ignored my request for a refund. After being told the product would be here this week 3 weeks in a row we needed to find another option for our reno. They do not communicate what items are in stock and what items need to be ordered. No follow up emails for 4 weeks after ordering and being told any day now for 3 weeks left me very frustrated. I understand delays. I understand not having stock but I do not understand the lack of communication and straight up ignoring requests and shipping the product days after being told to cancel the order. I wouldNot recommend ordering online from this company. Thankfully I was able to return the other lights I had purchased as I was terrified what the return process would be like with such poorCustomer service.

I question if this is even a legitimate business. All of my dealings with them have been super unprofessional and they have never been able to give me any information on the status of my order. After 3 months of waiting I've asked for a refund but I have no faith they will actually process it. I read someone else's feedback that they had to dispute the charge with the credit card company and I'm assuming I will have to do the same. Stay far, far away from this company. Pay a little more if you have to. Don't be like me and try to save a few bucks.
