There is definitely a higher level of customer care and commitment here that you might not find at other salons. The moment I sat down in the chair, I could tell there was going to be a strong commitment to helping achieve the outcome I wanted. I really appreciated being the focus without multiple clients in other chairs, and I never felt the process was rushed. As someone who does not get their hair done often, it's important to find the right person to do the job and it was refreshing not to feel like just another customer, but a potential long term client.

Communication with customers is one of Sean's strong points, as he understands my preferences well.I have visited Tomotomo for various hair services, including haircuts, hair straightening, and color treatment, and I have been very happy with the results.I highly recommend Sean and Tomotomo Hair Salon for their professional and skillful approach. Most importantly, their pricing is reasonable compared to other places in Vancouver :)

I am a regular customer of TomoTomo for many years. Not only because I trust Sean's aesthetic and professional skills, but also because of his compassion and kindness. The first time I went to get a perm, just after applying the solution, I received a call from my child's school saying that she was sick and asked me to pick her up. Sean immediately rinsed off the solution and dried my hair without charging me. Sean now also cuts my 12 year old daughter's hair and gives her curly style that she always wants. My little girl is super happy and very satisfied.

I got my hair washed and a layered haircut by Shawn and it looks great. He is very skilled at providing the style you want and I enjoyed looking at the Japanese hair magazines for inspiration. He is one of the best hair stylists I’ve had. Highly recommend.His location has changed but it’s still convenient. I walked from the Joyce skytrain station.

I had a haircut with Shawn today and I am more than impressed. From the moment I walked into the studio I was greeted by his warm welcome. He quickly understood the hairstyle I wanted and took the time to explain what kind of shape/layering was involved. He is highly skilled and pays great attention to details. You can tell that he loves his work because he wants to make sure his clients are 100% satisfied. I was extremely happy with the result, my hair felt much smoother and good quality after the cut. I will for sure see him again. Thank you!
