Take out review: an average “fusion” with a heavy emphasis on sauce, which I am not a fan of. At around $4 per ‘pocket’, it gets pricey. Inari pocket ratings as follows: Salmon: decent, shoyu sauce. Spicy Tuna/Salmon: distracting sauce, okay. Creamy avocado: again with the sauce, okay. Beef bulgogi: unnecessary sauce. Tempura: average, still crispy. Sweet spicy shrimp: it’s Thai sauce, bleh. Presentation: good. Overall: probably wouldn’t order from here again.

Pocket Holic
Pocket Holic is a hidden gem! Tried their Seoul udon with spicy salmon and Korean-chicken pockets. The udon was creamy and packed with flavor. The pockets were a fun twist—I can't wait to try more! The restaurant has a cool interior and is tucked away in a secluded spot. Highly recommend checking it out for a unique fusion feast!

Love the Inari Sushi [Pocket Sushi] here. Each variety we tried were all fantastic. The food tastes fresh and they had a great variety. They have a small amount of seating inside. The service was kind, accommodating, and friendly.

I ordered delivery for this place to try their menu and everything was quite delicious. Although there’s a lot of rice in each of the tofu pockets, I dug out half of the rice and it was the perfect portion size for me. My favourite item was definitely the seaweed salad as it was the perfect flavour.The creamy udon was decent, although super heavy. Overall, I would go back again.

My sister brought me into Pocket Holic because she has long wanted to try their sushi pockets, which I never understood the texture and taste of the bean curd wrap. Seeing that this is such a niche market and that they also offer udon and poke bowls, and seem to do it super well, they definitely deserve all the stars. I’m still not a fan of the pocket wrap itself, but the ingredients and stuffings of these lil guys are delicious, well priced and definitely worth a try. The location is also awesome with a famous candy store right across the street and the river and other bars and cool restaurants a block away.

Pocket Holic is such a cute place in Kensington! The store is smaller but homey and comfortable. There are a few tables and a bar to eat at. The menu has a wide variety of choices with Korean and Japanese style foods and drinks. The server was nice and the food came out very quickly, only a few minute wait for us!I got a Pocket Holic Special combo which comes with 1 udon of your choice, 2 pocket sushi of your choice, and a miso soup. It was only $18.99 and perfect portion for me to share with my sister for lunch. The plating was cute and minimalistic.We got the Carbonara Udon, super creamy and the egg was satisfying to mix in. The bacon added a nice flavour into it as well. We also got the spicy tuna pocket sushi and aburi salmon pocket sushi. Both were very easy to eat, no mess and very tasty. The miso soup was a perfect side to wash down our food with.They have a lot of pocket sushi to pick from and if there isn't any displayed, you can still order it and they will make it! For sure coming back! :)

I pass by this restaurant often when I walk through Kensington and decided to try it today! The inside of the restaurant was so clean and cute and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The pocket/inari sushi were very generous portions and had more fish than rice inside which was amazing. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. I will definitely come back!
