Great people and cheap drinks. Free pool and darts. Shuffleboard is only 25 cents for score clock. Anyone is welcome (don't need to be a member to go).

The problem with the Legion is that it has an image of being a closed membership of old people, in an old place, talking about old things. It really isn't any of those things.This location is open to the public, is warm and welcoming, with an atmosphere perfect for conversation. Seating is perfect for a couple playing pool or a team enjoying after game drinks and comradery.While not trendy, it has the friendly small town ambiance that lends to a sense of community and connection.A pitcher of beer is $14. You can buy anything from a $1 pickled egg up to basic pub grub. There are several restaurants in the same building if you need something more hardy, including a Subway.There are 2 pool tables, 2 shuffleboard tables, and 10 dart lanes. I think all are by donation. The pool is for sure. Its also the kind of place you could bring cards and play away the afternoon or evening.If you're a gambling type you could challenge any veteran there to produce their service coin. If they fail to, they buy you a beer. Be warned, if they produce, you buy the beer!If you want a friendly atmosphere, cheap beer, and cheaper pool; this is the place for you. It certainly is for us!

People are friendly, staff is friendly and good beer prices. There is a meat draw every week. I usually get a beer bought for me too!

I had my 60th birthday there in January 2019. The staff were incredibly friendly and really helped me with the setup.I hope to do more events there. I am looking forward to receiving emails with activities that I can participate in.
