HDC Hair & Esthetics

On June 17th I was there with my mother and sister to get our hair and make-up done. Very happy. On the other hand, the receptionist or counter attendant you had that day was something else. She spoke to us like we were bothering her, wanting to pay. I don't know if it was just a bad day or the fact she knew who I was but that is not justification for how she acted and spoke to us. Me or my sister, I don't really care, but my elderly mother was very upset and confused as to why she was being rude to her. Please advise this young lady that whatever reservations she has about a person on the other side of that counter, be professional and provide great customer service. Thank you Kathy Fisher (Perry).

I have used these services in the past and have been very happy with service and price. My latest experience was not at the same level. The student was inexperienced which is fine but I felt more supervision would have help with a better outcome. In past experience the supervisor was there at each step which didn’t happen this time and this student needed much more help on proper technique.

I wanted to cut off my long hair, but like most people I'm very attached to it (security blanket?). So, I did a virtual consultation and explained what I wanted done (it wasn't too elaborate, very reasonable). I spent a MONTH doing back-and-forth emails to make sure they knew what to do. They reassured me over the phone that it would be totally fine and knew exactly what to do. So I buy my bus tickets and come all the way up here from the valley and the hairdresser is like So what are we doing?". I couldn't believe it. I was made to feel SO out of place SO unwelcome. Went to get a gel pedicure by Vanessa Squires! Wonderful job!I have been her model before for waxing and a facial when she was in module1 of her training, always great service. Im always asking her what she is learning next so that i can get her to do it on me!

My experience at HDC completely exceeded my expectations! The stylist Yvette is incredibly talented, on top of being so warm and friendly. I had bleached my hair at home and honestly thought I’d have to wait until it grew out to have a natural colour again. Yvette restored my hair to a very natural, gorgeous brunette colour! You’d never be able to tell it was bleached before. The atmosphere of the salon is very inviting and positive. I could tell that all of the teachers really care about the students and their education! Would definitely recommend choosing HDC

I had a great experience with HDC. I was visiting from out of province and needed a hair cut for an event for the weekend.I walked in without an appointment and they were able to fit me in on the spot. Wow!All I needed was the sides shortened and faded. Also a little bit off the top. The student cutting my hair - Tatum - appeared to be very new. She took her time to cut my hair and the teachers were present to help her out and so was I.The cut took longer than your typical cut but that was expected. She completed the cut after some time and it turned out perfect!After the cut I received the best hair and scalp massage ever. This helped release so much tension which I didn’t know I had. My wife was so jealous after I told her about it.I tried to get an appointment for my wife but they were fully booked.I would be a repeat customer if I lived here.I encourage you to give them a try. Highly recommend.

Everything was excellent! I’ve been going to HDC since it opened and Amanda was wonderful, she’s very patient, pleasant, knowledgeable and very skilled and has excellent customer service. I felt like we were friends forever, and she’s and a huge asset to your industry. I’m glad she was available last minute, I’ve rebooked with her in 3 weeks and am very excited for her to do my new color. She gives excellent head massages too, the best I’ve ever received. A very satisfied customer. Chris, the teacher, is also absolutely wonderful and I’ve known him at HDC for years and I trust him implicitly.Thanks Amanda (& Chris) and see you in 3 weeks. I am giving my experience a four because the staff are wonderful and my appointments always go well, however the polish simply comes off immediately. I had my nails done yesterday (not gel) and already today the polish is coming off. That’s just one hand…the other hand I am clipping because three nails are peeling. I think the polish is too thin…

This was 1st visit to HDC for a pedicure olivia was Fantastic i will definatly come back because of her if your training all your students as great as her i will definatly be a regular! Such a great service. Olivia i wish you well on your graduation and you will for sure go far in this industry!

Great consultation, Madison really went over what I was looking for even when I was indecisive. I didn’t feel pressured to continue with a full head of foils. Communication came easily for Madison. My hair looks great. She got me to the color I have always wanted. Great cut as well. Thanks!
