Oxford Learning Ocean Park

Ocean Park- Oxford Learning is really the best! My son has been going for a few months and I have noticed a positive improvement in and out of school. Joy understood him and how to teach him right away and makes learning fun. The tutors are great! He is not hesitant to go and always has a smile when he leaves.

My son started at Oxford Learning at the beginning of a gruelling grade 12 quarter, consisting of Calculus and Physics. Joy and her team were so amazing! They not only tutor, they really teach your child how to self-learn. My son finished the quarter strong and got into the University of his choice! I highly recommend Oxford Learning, and I will definitely be sending my other two kids there.

The reason I love Oxford Ocean Park：- top quality tutors customize for my kids;- staffs are responsible, love kids…I appreciate their constructive feedbacks to my kids;- focus on cognitive learning;- there is a starbucks next door and opposite is a library. Walking in the neighborhood or to the seaside is also beautiful.

We are SO grateful for Joy and her team at Oxford Ocean Park. Our daughter comes away from each session absolutely glowing and we cant thank them enough for the love and support given. They have a very positive learning environment and in just a few months have helped to make a shy grumpy reader who was 2 years behind - into a very confident one that is on par with her peers.

My daughter visited Oxford Learning for some help with her math. Joy was very helpful and focused the tutoring around her specific needs. My daughter is now enjoying math in school much more than before. Highly recommended.

I am delighted to write this review for the Oxford Learning Center. In my opinion, this is “the destination” for those who need tutoring at any level of elementary school, high school or as a university freshman. Joy Robertson is the Center Director at the Ocean Park branch. She has also been directly involved with my son’s grade 12 math tutoring. We are absolutely thankful to have her in his academic life. She is extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, compassionate and patient. She truly cares about her students’ learning and wants them to absolutely succeed. She is open to conversations with the parents and provides detailed updates and feedbacks on her students’ progress. My son has been attending Oxford Learning Ocean Park twice a week since November. In that time, his reading ability and comprehension have improved immensely. He is more confident now both in and outside the classroom and is able to focus better with his confidence. He is more interested in his learning as well. Joy, Coral and the staff are professional, kind, friendly and all genuinely interested in seeing students succeed!

My daughter has been with Oxford last year. I have seen big improvement of her English levels. Then she is more engaged wit her school learning. When the school closed since March, I am thankful Oxford is offering online class. It was nice experience; with only 2 kids max and 1 teacher, my daughter is able to interact with her Oxford teacher every time. I know a lot of parent out there has concerns about online class because of the online experience from schools. Oxford online is a real learning class that students are studying knowledge with teacher, not by themselves. I would highly recommend Oxford Learning to all parents out there who are worrying about the kids education.
