It was a long process meeting with suppliers, getting quotes, understanding the offering, but UniFirst stood out way above the rest. We decided to proceed with them and the experience has been exceptional - it is great to know they care, on both a professional and personal level. Great people and the service is outstanding! Right from the start the entire experience with UniFirst has been the worst I have ever seen in the industry. From ZERO communication from my rep after the paper work was signed to 8 week delays in getting our uniforms in as promised. NO Loaner clothing provided as promised for the delay in uniforms. When the loaner clothes came in they were all different and the wrong sizes. When asking my rep he was no longer around and had to go over EVERYTHING with another representative.We were missing uniforms for weeks before it got resolved, with little to no communication.I had also setup" monthly payments with my rep to find out three months later that they had not been taking money for payments and that I would need to add a credit card to my account even after providing a Void cheque. I had advised my rep I was reluctant to get signed up as I had a bad experience with another company. But I have to say this experience has been even worse and I have only been using them for three months.. This company is extremely un organized."

As a former employee, I enjoyed my time working for Unifirst Canada Direct Sales. Although it is a smaller, but growing, division of the business, it was a fulfilling experience. The team is skilled and has a deep understanding of what needs to be done to reach their goals. Management is supportive and open to new ideas and there is also a lot of opportunity to learn. As a sales representative, I had the opportunity to work with various cross-functional teams which aided in my development and business acumen. This is a division definitely headed in the right direction.
