RedBeef Noodle Kitchen (Kitsilano)
I think I have found my new favorite Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, even beating out tough competitors like Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle (Aberdeen Centre, Richmond), and No. 1 Beef Noodle (Willingdon Ave, Burnaby). The restaurant is spacious, clean, and modern. Service is attentive as well—regularly checked in with me and refilled water despite being someone who ordered only 1 bowl of noodles by itself.I ordered the Premium RedBeef noodle with raw beef, non spicy broth, and flat noodles. The broth was rich, flavorful, and well balanced. You can actually taste the beef in the broth unlike some other places, but not so much so that it felt greasy. The noodles themselves were so chewy and well portioned that I felt full even though I skipped breakfast. There are 6-7 pieces (maybe more since I didn’t actually count)of raw meat that are SO tender. The broth had just the right temperature that the meat slices were just slightly pink after the broth was poured over them and served to your table. You can actually feel them melt in your mouth. I kept 2 slices for the end, and even though they were no longer the mild pink color after sitting in the broth for 15 minutes, they still kept their tender texture. I especially loved how the server was accommodating enough to ask me if I wanted to take pictures/videos before pouring the soup over the raw beef slices. You also have the option to look at a traditional/physical menu, or scan a QR code and placing an order from your phone. My inner introvert is so grateful for this option so I wouldn’t have to stutter from anxiety. Although I kind of wished placing an order from the QR code didn’t need registering with your phone number (have to use your actual phone number too since it texts you a verification code).Overall, I would say the $22.95 price is more than fair considering the broth, meat, portion, service, and ambience. I would definitely drop in again even if it takes me 45+ minutes to commute here.Accepts credit card for payment.

I came for a quick lunch with a friend. Service was efficient and there was ample seating. We both ordered the lunch special, which was a good deal (main, side, and drink for about $20) but the dishes that are included are limited. If you are picky about your noodles, they offer more than one style, which is nice. I prefer thick noodles and the texture in my signature beef noodle soup was great. I don't believe any of the dishes are vegetarian friendly due to the soup base.

Visited for lunch on a weekday afternoon. I got the beef brisket and tendon noodle soup, while my friend got beef brisket - both soups' servings of brisket were tender, though the tendon could have used some extra cooking time to soften. Noodles had great chew and the soup was flavourful with a hint of spice. Besides a minor payment issue (which the staff were very quick to rectify), service was quick and efficient. Tasty noodles for a great price (for Kits) - would visit again, maybe to try their fried chicken, beef rolls, or red beef noodle soup.

The lunch combo with a signature beef noodle soup, fried chicken & drink for $20 is great value. Beef is tender, noodles have a nice firmness and the soup stock is flavourful.

As another reviewer stated I wish I could give them 4.5 stars. The meal was tasty and flavours were on point. The soup dumplings were a little on the small side; however the beef noodle soup was large and the star of the show. Service was a 4/5.Came to $25 with tip for a bowl of soup and soup dumplings which isn’t too bad compared to the competition.Simply put I will eat there again.

The place is clean and the food is amazing. Had the signature beef soup oh my my my it was delicious. They roll it out in a cart and poor the soup over the tender raw beef in front of you. Was very very delicious. They charged us gratuity without telling us which was annoying but they did let us stay some time after closing which was nice.

Lovely lunch meal at redbeef in Kitsilano. Their lunch special is great - on Mondays, it’s their signature beef noodle soup with popcorn chicken and drink. The beef noodle was flavourful with tender beef. The popcorn chicken was crispy and well spiced. I got the winter melon beverage and it was quite sweet but refreshing - served in a to go cup. Service was quick and prompt - very nice servers.

Authentic and tasty Taiwanese beef noodle soup in a clean environment with excellent service! This is the definition of doing the simple things well. The broth looked deceptively simple but exploded with umami without being fatty, Must a try.
