This was my fiance and I first time visiting. We were a bit confused with it at first but slowly got the hang of it... we weren't too sure where the restaurant was, so we did not go. We had tried all the baths plus most of the saunas. It was quite pleasant.

An absolutely wonderful spot! I'm only in Winnipeg for a short time, and was very much looking forward to this experience. With the exception of some food issues (moldy strawberries in the charcuterie box, pizza place completely forgetting my order, causing me to wait an unnecessarily long time for something to eat), it was an overall lovely experience. Staff were respectful and friendly, everything was clean, and the rituals in the sauna were amazing!

Thermëa is an incredible experience that everyone should treat themselves to, with the recent care improves the experience has improved by alot.When I first visited 5 years ago it was a pretty standard experience and self driven, you had to bring your own robe, own flip flops and lockers were coin.Now its been upgraded with towels, robes and flip flops for purchase($11.20 after tax)I took some friends for their first experience and we had an amazinf time.The polar pool is definitely advised to work up to. I suggest starting in the orange or eucalyptus rooms.The only gripe I had was that people do not leave the hot pool, they just park there all night.Anyways a great place to relax, unwind and get some much needed self care.

It was fun and relaxed. But too packed, all the sauna and hot tubs were full of people. Some respected the rules, but some still talked pretty loud. They changed their booking to online only, so make sure you booked it before you go. Things to bring: slippers, swimsuit, water/drink bottles. They offers everything else.

The property and amenities are beautiful and inviting. However, the atmosphere is not relaxing. There is very loud talking in the baths, the whispering rule is not enforced. It’s disappointing, people often come to your spa to relax. The staff should circulate more often and give gentle warnings.

So I have generally really enjoyed the times I have been at thermea however last week July 2023, when I went in I found out that the restaurant was undergoing renovations which really limited the food options. In addition, the food options available were marked up quite a bit higher compared to the regular restaurant menu. The spa itself as always was fantastic but I was very disappointed by the lack of dining options and the exorbitant fee for the limited food options.I also really disliked the fact they did not post the restaurant closure on the website so I booked without knowing. Would not have booked had I known.

Really really disappointed with the really poor management decision to close the kitchen and not be upfront with loyal guests. In particular there should have been a notice when booking online that the kitchen would be essentially closed during that 2 week period so guests could make an informed decision about when to plan their visit. I'm a loyal customer but will certainly be thinking twice before rebooking. Complete waste of money when we specifically went for a nice meal and relaxing evening to celebrate a 40th birthday and instead it ended up being a complete waste of money when our arrival was at 5pm, none of us had eaten and the food was worse than hospital cafeteria food honestly with 2 day old soggy and molding lettuce wraps and salads on take out plates with plastic wrapped cutlery. It should have been clearly stated when booking online the restaurant would be closed for renovation during that time.

I booked over the phone this time because I had a coupon from my last experience where the hot tub was undergoing renovations. There was no mention of the restaurant being closed by the person over the phone. I had planned this visit weeks in advance for my wife for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We were very excited to have a nice lunch and dinner and enjoy a day of relaxation.When I asked to speak with someone about the food options and how we did not find any of them appetizing what we got was did you not see the mention online of the restaurant being closed?" To me this is a very ignorant response and now I understand why.I went on your website just to see this "mention"

My husband was unaware at the time of booking that the restaurant was going to be closed due to renovations. He phoned his booking in and the employee did not let him know. We were greatly disappointed with the limited menu available and had we known ahead of time, we would have planned to go at a later time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The front end staff allowed us to order with skip the dishes and eat outside the front entrance (not in our robes…), but would not provide my husband a fork despite having them available. We were given a free drink each, however, we expected much more for our visit. Again, had we known ahead of time we would have planned for a different date so we could have the full thermea experience that included a delicious meal in the restaurant.As well, at one point the steam rooms appeared to be not working, so I let an employee know. We didn’t return to the steam rooms to see if that was addressed.

Have been here three times over the course of 5 years and now we have decided we will come back every winter. Great way to start our New Year. The thermal Baths, saunas and steam rooms feel so great in the cold.The food is quite pricey so we usually only do one meal and then leave before dinner. But most things on the menu we have loved. However our most recent server seemed uninterested and bored but food was served quickly. My black garlic pasta was meh- honestly could make better pasta myself (2/5), but my partner got the potato bowl and that was delicious (5/5).Last year they had salmon on a cloud" - delicious
