Granville Island Public Market
Absolute must visit spot when in Vancouver. If the weather is nice, it's even more of a plus. The scenery from outside the market is stunning. Grab something to eat inside from dozens of places which cover every taste you can come up with, and take it outside to watch the boats pass by. Mesmerizing.

Granville Island Public Market
Yes it's a bit of a tourist trap, but one that's a pleasure to spend a few leisurely hours in, eating, drinking, buying souvenirs or just sitting and watching the world go by. A great atmosphere.If you're into gourmet food, you won't be dissapointed. A bit on the pricey side, true, but it's all absolute top quality.If you're going for the famous donuts, note that they don't accept cash.Nice picnic areas outside at the dockside or inside the market above the Blue Parrot Coffee shop.Go in the morning to avoid the crowds, or late afternoon. Closes at 6pm. The aqua bus from Hornby is a nice way to arrive.

Granville Island Public Market
This place is amazing. Everywhere you look there are fresh fruits and vegetables from all over the United states as well as Asia. Meat and deli counters are everywhere serving sausages and sliced meats and cheese from all over the world. You can get German food,Thai food ,mediterranean food, anything you can imagine to eat is being offered here. I've never seen anything like this! If you travel to Vancouver and miss this, you've made a mistake!

Granville Island Public Market
Was told to visit this place and surrounding shops on the Island on our recent trip to Vancouver. We caught the ferry across to it from the terminal near Sunset beach. The market is similar to Pike Place Market in Seattle with lots of fresh produce stalls interspersed with eateries and other types of shops. Nice outdoor seating area overlooking the water way too to eat your fare and relax. If your lucky your may meet the bird of pray which I believe is a Harris Hawk used to deter flying rats (pigeons and seagulls)

Awesome place to visit to soak up the atmosphere, be amazed at all the fresh produce, meats, cheese, coffee and desserts for sale, as well as the many restaurants selling lots of variety of foods from all different cuisines. Lots of areas to sit inside with tables and chairs, as well as outdoor seating to enjoy the music. Get here by water on ferries or by road on public transport or cars

Granville Island Public Market
Always fun to visit here. Lots of shops and markets. I love the art galleries. Outdoor music, fresh seafood, and lots of souvenirs for the tourists. Weekdays are a bit less traffic and cloudy days are even better to avoid the crowds. Beer and wine now sold as a pilot program.

Amazing market on a beautiful island! So much to see and do. There is an abundance of food, fresh fruits/veggies, desserts, baked goods, artwork, gifts, etc. A one stop shop! I was able to try foods I've never been able to before (Fiddlehead Ferns)! I highly recommend stopping if you can!

This is a great market to visit. You can find lots of fresh and different foods, ingredients and more and just by going there is a great thing to do by itself. Try the food from the market and walk around to discover new flavors, ingredients, artwork and more. You can buy your food, seat outside watching the amazing view from False Creek and just be happy. Like really happy.
