Homewood Suites by Hilton Sudbury

Homewood Suites is located at the prime location of Sudbury. It is a bit old and needs updating. The Guest Services Manager who checked me in is nice and friendly. We chatted for some time, which eventually I forgot to ask about my complementary water as a Diamond Hilton Honors member. The room is clean, but the furniture needs to be replaced. The sofa is outdated, and the ottoman is full of pet scratches. It sends out negative messages to the guests. The bed, however, is comfy. We slept soundly except for the time when the alarm was set on around 5am. We were forced to wake up, and that was not the plan. I enjoyed the breakfast. The kitchen staff were great and super friendly. She helps us in every way. It feels like home. The area was clean and well maintained , and I could not help but clean up my mess. We have met a super nice and friendly housekeeping attendant in the elevator. Her smile brightens up our day. Thank you all for a warm welcome and great service. You are awesome. I forgot to fill out the catch me at my best, sorry. To the General Manager...you have great staff, please look after them and make them happy. If the staff are happy at work, it shows in their faces. You all deserve to be caught.. next time, guys be bold and introduce yourself. The guest might forget to ask your names.

very clean, walls are alil thin so u do tend to hear people next room over but honestly it was an amazing stay and so comfortable and clean.... convenient as well!!! i stayed for a hospital stay for 4 days and enjoyed it alot... pool was a nice addition alil chilly but was nice for a short swim. didnt explore the gym i should of with the variety of fast food lol they had free dinner on wens ...and a great variety for breakfast!!!

Excellent accommodations! The hotel's location is central to everything in Sudbury and is close to restaurants and shopping. Upon our arrival the front desk greeted us with welcoming smiles and had us checked in quickly. They were super friendly and when we told them we were there for my son's Graduation from Laurentian they offered warm congratulations. Our room was spectacular! Clean, spacious, and came with all of the comforts of home! We truly enjoyed all of the bells and whistles in this 2 bedroom King suite. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet!A special shout out to manager, Sherry Hein, who went out of her way to make our stay there so special. We will definitely book again for our next trip to Sudbury!

Great experience. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. This is a good place to stay for a family, or for anyone who staying for a longer period. We were a young, U11 hockey team. The fridge was a full-size and there were utensils available in the dishwasher. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast and pool. Bed were comfortable and our son said he liked the pull-out couch. Would stay here again for sure.Shoeless Joe's is in the parking lot of this hotel and is very convenient. However, we made a reservation for our group and were kicked out as we were eating because they over booked our spot. That had nothing to do with the hotel, but keep in mind that they may not accommodate more than 15 people.

Cannot say enough about this hotel. After our original hotel decided to cancel our stay we had to scramble and find a new hotel at 1am. This place was happy to take our business when we showed up after driving for 6 hours with a toddler. Breakfast was great and the breakfast worker was even better. She treated my son like her own, played games with him and even got him a book as a gift. Thank you for making our last minute stay amazing and taking great care of us.

A good hotel with an even better breakfast. It has one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever seen. The staff is super helpful. We got held up by a snowstorm and The hotel was packed. We needed to stay for an extra night and they were able to accommodate us in the same room,saving us money. There's a gym and a pool. The pool is kind of dirty though. It really needs a good clean.... The kids wanted to swim and I was so grossed out...the rooms are kind of dated but they are nice. The pull-out couch was very uncomfortable... My daughter and I slept on it . I would return tho!

Excellent staff, rooms are complete with everything you’d need when staying. Spacious and comfortable, breakfast starts at 6 and is pretty decent.

A bit far on the edge of town (i.e. not walking distance to POI like Science North, etc.), but easy to get into right off both 17 and 69. Lots of food options nearby, and spacious suits that include both working desk and eating table. Stove range, toaster, microwave, full fridge, and even dishwasher. Very convenient.

Worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. Our dog barked once in the morning as there was noise the hall. The front desk receptionist, Linda, came to our breakfast table and gave my family a loud lecture. My family is Indigenous and disabled. My dog is a support dog. This was handled extremely poorly. Linda gave us dirty looks the entire rest of our stay and was embarrassing in front of other hotel guests. Other hotel guests noticed her unprofessional behaviour. She disrupted four other breakfast tables. I would not stay in this hotel again as long as Linda is there. The other staff, especially Scott and Rebecca, were lovely.
