Peterborough Cars

Awful experience on 16th May 2023. The driver was 10 mins late, arrived in an old smelly car, did not help to put the luggage in the boot. I nearly missed the train as was running to the platform. Overall, very bad experience and do not feel like using them again.

Booked a taxi the other evening and waited at the location. The driver drove straight past me. I received a voicemail (as well as many calls later) and returned the call and left a message to the driver where I was waiting. I then called your office number (many times) and was advised by an automated service that my booking was cancelled. I paid by card on the app for the booking of £7.00. I was offered to rebook the booking. A different taxi arrived.Once I arrived at my destination the driver asked for payment. I advised him that I paid by card on the app and what had happened. He said that was another driver and want my money as it was a cash payment. I explained yet again that it was not my fault that the previous driver just drove straight past me and did not call me back. He was extremely rude and said that's not my problem I want my money as the card payment would have been sent to the other driver.I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated by this driver and did not apologise for the issue that I had.  Reluctantly I paid this rude driver the cash as I felt threatened by him and have never been treated in this manner by anyone before.Will never use again and would definitely not recommend them.

Appalling service, had to chase the taxi office for a driver to be assigned for a pick up from Peterborough station; the driver arrives late and then marks himself as arrived to Waitrose instead of Peterborough Station claiming the road is blocked and demanding I walk to him, despite all taxis and cars arriving into the station with no difficulty. Appalling service and won’t be using again.

First class experience from Peterborough Cars. Abdul, the driver was so pleasant and courteous and patient when driving my elderly father down to Tewksbury. He was an excellent driver too and the car was top rate, clean and very comfortable. The tracking app was very helpful for me, letting me know their progress throughout the journey.Will be our preferred firm from now on.Thank you very much.

Be aware! As with previous reviews, my taxi got cancelled but I was still charged. Called them and they said they waited too long! I always get a notification or call to say they've arrived. They assured me I would be refunded and they would send another taxi, I got charged again and never got a refund. Must be a new way of scamming money out of people, AVOID!

I have used Peterborough cars for a few years now. Their service is outstanding. App is handy and easy to use. Our recent airport run was superb. Last week I accidentally left my glasses in the cab, and they located these and sent them to a safe place for me to collect. Highly recommend Peterborough cars.

I've used Peterborough Cars for many years, have noticed that recently their service has really gone downhill. Missed 3 trains in a week due to drivers arriving more than ten minutes late (worst one was over 30 minutes), it's almost impossible to get to speak to a human when there's an issue, and when you do they are rude and unhelpful. The app also encourages drivers to use their mobile phones whilst driving. Every single one of them does it. Pretty sure that's now illegal, and at best it's dangerous. Don't know what's changed, but I suggest the management take a good look at it...

One of the drivers who drove me to work Wednesday night was absolutely lovely! So kind an genuine. We need more people in the world like that guy. I wish I could write his name but I didn’t get it.

Really easy and great to deal with. The taxis turned up exact on time and they even accommodated an amended time. Great communication too. This is how all taxi companies should operate

I requested for Etios under the sedan and they sent an amazing car almost new and both the drivers that day were very polite and did talk very well.
