Kai Brady's Fancy Dive Bar
I work in the film industry which often means unpredictable weird hours thus my last production I ordered here on various occasions as they are open late. Many restaurants in Halifax that are open this late lack quality but this isn’t the case here, their food is consistently fresh and flavourful! I recommend the tacos best and they always accommodate my annoying additions/instructions haha 10/10

Nice place to stop for friendly service and a beerWent a few times, fellow bar stool customers and the bar staff were good conversation.I've eaten here once and the food is good, but the price I paid for the fish and chips, the fish portion was about that of 2 fish sticks and cost $18. At $18 I should feel like I had a meal. The appetizer was more food than my main and my wife's dish was 3x more.Please ensure the fish portions match the price. A 110lb woman might be happy with the portionAgain, food and staff are really good though. I would recommend it and go again.

We went to this restaurant as the menu looked good. I think the place could benefit from more servers. The chicken strips were subpar. I think they forgot to bread it or something. The Philly cheesesteak pizza did not have the Philly cheese provolone or creamy cheese factor that I was looking for. We sat beside a dad who was yelling at his kids and disciplining them in public so loud that it made us very uncomfortable. We tried to leave right away but unfortunately the servers were too busy to get it in a timely manner. Overall I wished we ate elsewhere after the whole experience. The food was subpar. The atmosphere was terrible. The service was alright.

Fantastic.. that's all.Half pound lobster roll was divine!A perfectly toasted bun, with so.. so much lobster. Don't mess about.. get the half pound.The Seafood Chowder was stunning. Big pieces of fish, lobster, shrimp, scallops, and a delicious creamy potato broth.Just an amazing meal.

Excellent pub/restaurant. Food is always fresh, tasty and amazing. The service is always impeccable; you feel at home right away. Has to be one of the most unique bars in Halifax and I wish more restaurants would adopt originality. Kai Brady’s is definitely a local hang out.

First time visiting as a bachelorette party group and very pleased with this bar, our server (Kate? Possibly) was phenomenal, couldn’t of asked for a better server. Bringing over a round of shots for us on the house. I was pretty amazed at the quality of the food for being a dive bar. Prices are very reasonable especially since the quality is there. Cocktails and drinks were yummy. $6 burgers when we visited on a Wednesday and live music was playing as well. All servers seemed to be pretty happy and cheerful, which is hard to come by. Definitely cannot wait to come back to check out more of the food menu.

First time going to Kai Brady's on a Friday night. The atmosphere was great, DJ had an amazing music selection, and everybody was having a blast. Just expect a tight squeeze, lots of fun though. But the bar should have a better system of getting drinks to the restaurant side, instead of the waiters and waitresses having to push through the crowd. I did have a waitress yelling at me to move, I was fully sober, and I could hear her fine, but when everybody is pushed against each other, it can be pretty tricky to get out of the way. So this waitress, curly-haired, and had glasses, proceeds to kick my ankles, and calves to move, a witness saw and was asking her what the hell" she was doing

Very good food above average only issue is there’s a lot of bugs flies and ants around the store the bathroom had a colony of ants and there are fruit flies flying around the whole bar . Food had good taste but bugs all around.
