They were closed but I was able to clean my windshield anyway. The bugs sounded like Hugh raindrops hitting my car.

MacEwen is usually pretty good for their hot foods but this one I don't think gets the traffic. Buns were hard as a rock for hot dogs/sausages. Will be skipping the snack bar next time.

We pulled in to the gas station with a puking 5 year old. One raced on to get some meds and the others started cleaning. The attendant went above and beyond helping us with plastic bags and soapy water. He was kind and compassionate and helped us with any we needed. His excellent customer service means I will make it a point to stop here when I come through Mattawa everytime.

Shelves were well stocked, brightly lit, and the bathroom was clean. The clerk must have felt bad for me because as I paid for my gas he offered me a bottle of water, but the stop was pleasant and didn't feel rushed or hectic.
