Mardi gras is the night club. They also have Voodoo lounge and Pub Bayou all at the same location.It is located by Old Hull and there is a large mix of young people / teens frequent here. But it does have a great outdoor patio area and wonderful dance floor with a raised stage for live performance. Most of nights, it is DJ and occasionally they have live bands.Cover charge expected after 9 pm during weekends.Music DJed is mixed and you probably need to inquire more in detail but often staff do not even know.It would be nice if they have themed music nights so not much of a bust when you go.Finally, drinks are actually quite reasonably priced compared to most establishments post covid. $7.45/ tax in for a glass of beer. That is getting hard to find these days.

Unfortunately I went there a few nights ago and was drugged. When my friends realized what had happened they escorted me out of the building but I ended up passing out right in front of the bouncers multiple times. Even though they could see that I was not doing well they did not come to help me and one of my friends had to go up to them to ask for help. I was screaming uncontrollably and kept getting walked on. I hope that if this were to ever happen again that they would go out of their way to help another young girl instead of watching her overdose and getting stepped on.

Love this nightclub!! The music could sometimes use a little help but other than that it’s a great atmosphere/place. My friends and I absolutely LOVE the bartender named Emilie, she’s the best and is so fun and nice!! Would recommend

HORRIBLE PLACE. My friends and I came here and the bouncers started a problem with one of us. The three ganged up on him and assaulted him. I don't understand why it takes 3 guys to de-escalate a situation with one guy. My friend left with bruises. They seemed ready to fight as soon as we got there. This place is trash and management should do something about these bouncers. Not the first review complaining about them. Bouncers are there to keep things calm and safe, not to validate their egos and act tough. DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR STAFF.

Bouncers steal my wallet and kick me off the club. When I asked to return my belongings, he pushed me hard and called cops telling lies to cops. Bouncers are very very disgusting. If you don’t pay them under the table they will do their best to kick you off and even steal things.Never had this kind of experience in my entire life.

Good club for 18 year olds that live in Ottawa. Some nights are good some nights are bad. The music is the definition of mid. You have to be carful about drugs and entrance is overpriced and lines are long. Not the worst club in the world.

Few months ago, I went to Mardi Gras and someone stole my $45 in the club. Plus, I hated when the security guard disrespected me & my friends when he checked my friend. The worst was I couldn't found my Jordan's cap. Guys I will recommend you that this club is the most dangerous in Gatineau

They made us pay twice for drinks we ordered claiming we never paid even though we could show them the bank receipts, the bartender refused to even look at it and called security over right away. He said we were yelling at him. When we were talking to the manager and he did not believe that we had already paid, and said that there were discrepancies" in our story vs the bartenders we were trying to show bank statements showing we paid and they wouldn't even look at it. I believe that they must have known they had made a mistake but did not want to take responsibility. This was not the first time we have gone and been treated this way. A large volume of their crowd is university age students
