Made an appointment to drop of material. On the appointment day called to confirm that the time still works. Showed up at that time sharp. No one at the shop. Waited 1/2h. No one showed up. Had to leave and drive back later that afternoon. No explanation or even simple sorry was given. Was told it's a simple and quick job" will be ready tomorrow

Great service, and great customer service. Greg did a fantastic job with the wooden paddles I brought in. The engravings came out great. Communication was open, and price was fantastic! If you need anything engraved, bring it to Greg!

I had a plastic window adapter that needed to be cut to fit my window. I couldn’t find any workshop in Ottawa that would agree to do it for me. I called My Urban Workshop expecting another no. But instead, Greg agreed to take a look first and see how he could help. He did and he didn’t charge me for it. Thank you so much for your helping mindset. I am truly grateful. Next time, I would definitely come back for the right projects.

Amazing services. We were constructing our own sofa and had some difficulty aligning the boards so we Google services and found his business listed. Went there and he offered his services instantly. How sweet. Felt so nice to see how helpful he was. I will use him again and again and also recommend him to anyone I know.

Stopped in here desperate after having driven to another place I THOUGHT did leather engraving but didn't. Not only did it get done right away on the spot (I'm sorry I didn't get your name!) but the gentleman helping me patiently helped figure out font style, size, and positioning on the leather journal gift I needed personalized. So pleased and would recommend the service and quality results. Thanks so much!

I can only say the best things about Greg and his company My Urban Workshop. We had bought a table at Artemano which started to crack within six months. After four years I finally found someone who agreed to fix it. Greg is a fabulous job. He was able to fill the cracks with Epoxy and totally refinish the table. It looks like new and it is beautiful. He picked it up and delivered it and kept me informed every step of the way. Thank you Greg

Absolutely the best customer service!! I'm a novice when it comes installing floating shelves with live edge wood. Had some beautiful, but large slabs of live edge wood that I grabbed from the Lumber Shack in Alymer. This shop milled and cut it to size perfectly. They also provided some amazing advice for a newbie. Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for other projects!

Excellent service, got a benchtop made and am happy with how it turned out. I had to cancel picking it up last minute on Friday and Greg was able to accomodate pickup outside of hours because I had a tight schedule. Nice guy, good work

I would not recommend trusting this shop with your expensive projects. I brought wood there to be made into two bench tops and a cheese board. All of the finished pieces are splintered at the edges from poor workmanship and still rough and pocked even though I was assured they would plane that out and fill with resin if needed.They didn't even start the project until a few days after Greg told me it would be finished. We spent time planning out the pieces - but when I picked it up, Greg had forgotten and misused the wood. He made a slew of excuses but never once phoned me to explain - probably because he lost my number and measurements. (He actually did).I specifically asked for a piece to be made into a hexagon, and he made an octagon. When I mentioned it he said it was because octagons were easier, and then had the audacity to suggest I was wasting his time even though he screwed up my entire project! Greg is very nice when you bring work in, but very indignant when you point out all of the errors he made.I would avoid this shop if you want quality work.
