Overall- 100% an excellent place to work!I will always be delighted and forever grateful that I got to work in Collegiate Heights. Despite only having worked with my managers and coworkers for six months, I feel very at ease doing so because of how easygoing they are. They always appreciate you in whatever good things you do. The residents and families are friendly and appreciative of your efforts. I can say that Chartwell serves as my secondary home.The management was also extremely helpful in getting my necessary documents. They helped me obtain my permanent residency status, and I will always be thankful of it. More powers Chartwell!!❤️

After extensive review, Collegiate Heights proved to be the best place for mom, offering the best care possible. Her room is spacious, clean and modern.The building is in great shape and safe for her to age-in- place. The staff is extremely welcome and respectful and go the extra mile to meet her needs. Chartwell Collegiate Heights recently partnered with the CICE Program at Sault College to provide students with hands-on field placement experience. The Collegiate Heights team was welcoming, supportive and accommodating. The student was encouraged to practice a high standard of service, and was included as a part of the team. This experience helped our student build confidence and prepare for their future career. We appreciate the warm, family attitude at Chartwell Collegiate Heights and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future!

My mom was a resident at Collegiate Heights for only a few months, but she had a wonderful time there. Her room was amazing, very roomy, clean and modern. Her windows overlooked the entire downtown core. She made quick friends with her table mates and with other residents and staff. One of her favorite features of Collegiate Heights was the dinner entertainment - Especially the country band with the funny singer/guitarist. I’m so glad my mom had the opportunity to live there.

Not only have I been an employee for 7 years at Collegiate Heights, but also am the daughter of a former resident.Collegiate Heights is an amazing place to work, all of my co-workers are more like family to me. Management is always encouraging us, and is always open to staff suggestions, giving us a rewarding experience.Collegiate Heights went above and beyond in caring for my mother. She was very, very happy there. She never forgot the employees that cared so much for her. She talked about Collegiate Heights daily.I would 100% recommend Collegiate Heights as an employer or as a home to live in.

Our parents made the best decision to make Colligate Heights their retirement residence. With our father, even though he was young at heart, there were certain medical needs that were required and were difficult to maintain at the family home. As a result, Colligate Heights became his new home with a welcoming nursing, recreational and administrative staff.Together they provided excellent care, and a relaxed home environment in a cheerful apartment with a patio that accommodated his walker. He looked forward to his meals in the dining room as well as the companionship. It was like a second home for our mother who visited him everyday until he recently passed away.Our mother has now moved into a spacious apartment with the memories of the family home and once again the Colligate Heights staff have made this life transition seamless for her. She has developed new friendships, new interests, and a new beginning in the next chapter of her dear life. We are grateful to the entire team at Colligate Heights for their continued warmth and welcoming nature for both of our parents in their golden years.The Taylor Children

Since his original information meeting, through several years of living in the Collegiate Heights community, my father has been respectfully and professionally looked after, through thick and thin. I have had excellent communication, staff is approachable and responsive. I am welcome anytime, and made to feel part of the environment every time. Thank you, every day and night!

I have worked at Chartwell Collegiate Heights for over two years now. It brings me great joy cooking for all of our amazing residents who are like family to me. I love to see the smiles on their faces after I have made them a delicious meal. I can attest that we have a wide variety of food on our menu and our menus change seasonally so that we can always get the freshest ingredients. I am encouraged to always use my creativity in the kitchen! Awesome place to work!

People in Chartwell Collegiate Heights are so friendly. They made all the residents feel welcome everytime. I'll recommend this place for any older adults that needs a comfy home to stay.

My Dad was there in Respite Care and the staff were awesome! They were friendly and helpful and really made my Dad feel welcome.Kudos to Nancy, Jessica, Courtney and everyone at Collegiate Heights!
