Came here on Canada Day after a hike at Grand Jardins national park! I ordered mojito and Shirley temple for my gf, she had shrimp linguine and I had fish and chip! The young servants are very attentive and helpful although they couldn’t understand English very well but still very kind to try their best to assist us with the menu. We waited almost 30 mins for the main dishes after onion rings was served as starter. I wasn’t too impressed by the fish and chip, slightly tasteless and the breading was just way too thick. Unsure if it was a busy day for the kitchen due to Canada day or their standard was only this high, they could’ve done better than this. All three stars are for the young servants and the ambient. 0 star for the food. :/

The New York Sandwich was very yummy! This was the only place at La Malbei with decent food and great views which is a savior as we were getting back from Tadoussac to Quebec city.

They accommodated our group of 44 after we couldn't eat lunch at the Hautes gorges restaurant due to staff shortage. This café serves a delicious grilled cheese sandwich made with local cheeses and oyster mushrooms between two slices of raisin bread. A must try if you are grilled cheese fan. The staff was so friendly and very attentive. I would go there again.

Food and drinks were very poor. They definitely seemed to be trying to stretch out the ingredients and overall the quality was very low. Service was well intentioned but poorly trained.

Subpar dining experience.Everything felt cheap" despite high costs.-The "placemats" were white legal sized paper that ripped immediately when wet.-French onion soup was tasty enough but covered in primary mozzarella (not gruyere or primarily Swiss) cheese-"Mojito" seemed to be made primarily of Seven Up (?!)-Bloody Marys were dilute and watery.-Pizza seemed to be made on a premade square flat bread and was served cold.Almost no one at the table finished their meal.When two member of the party tried to give feedback about the food the server said "you have to remember that I didn't make it."Would not recommend."

Friday at 8pm we walked in and asked a few questions, but we didn't sit down because they close at 8pm. We were told to come back Saturday, there was no mention of requiring a reservation...well to our surprise we were refused at the door because the restaurant was full". There were a lot of empty seats inside and on the terrace. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the food

My Family and I(ages 6-86) ALL enjoyed a Wonderful midday meal at this fine and Charming Luncheon Spot! The menu options satisfied every member of of our fussy Crowd, The Washrooms we’re lovely, Accessible and Sparkling Clean! Thank you for the great meal… We’ll look forward to our next visit!
