I brought my one month old Louis Vuitton scarf in for dry cleaning and it came back completely ruined with lint all over it. I complained and the store owner, Joy, claimed my scarf was fake which was why the scarf was damaged by the dry cleaning. They then tried to blame it on the Platis cleaning warehouse. She said her contact there, Gus, thought that the scarf was not authentic. I am astonished by the lack of responsibility they had taken and really disgusted at how they handled the situation. It is completely inappropriate to accuse my scarf of being “fake”. I literally bought it a month ago and have a receipt to prove it! STAY AWAY FROM PLATIS. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN AFTER DAMAGING A $700 SCARF. DO NOT COME HERE.

I've been going to Platis Cleaners for over a year. The proprietor always does a great job. I gave her my winter parka and she saw that the dye on the trim would run onto the coat. She removed the trim, cleaned it separately, and sewed it back on. Another time, she removed the pills" of thread on one of my jacket - I got it back looking like new! The prices are reasonable and the work is outstanding. I give it 5 out of 5."
