We recently got a second rescue pup who was very unsettled and demanding attention. Within the first ten minutes of our session with Brenda, she was already helping to change that by teaching us how to communicate with our dogs in a way that is innate to the them. The result for us was immediate. In minutes, we were able to tell our dogs that we were the leaders in a way they understand, and the dogs could relax and not worry about having to test whether they needed to lead the pack or not. It’s not about teaching them tricks or using special words. It was so simple and it came down to dog communication! Thank you Brenda for training Steve and I to be able to lead our pack, and making our home a calm, relaxing and enjoyable environment for us all in a matter of one session!

I was at my wits end with my 7 month old Boston Terrier puppy. His constant barking and biting was making both of our lives miserable.Brenda was able to give me the tools and train me how to use them to understand and change his behaviours. Now I have a puppy who is a joy to have around.

Brenda at Bark Busters is so amazing.Our dog Dawson is a rescue. When we first got him, he really didn't know much. He didn't know sit, stay or lay down. He was pulling on his leash when he walked, peeing all over our house and did not like to be left alone. He was a bit of a handful. It only took Brenda one session to teach us how to property train and work with Dawson. I had been trying to teach Dawson to sit for about two weeks and believe me I was determined to do it, but he just didn't get it. Brenda had him sitting within an hour. I actually almost cried when it happen. We saw a transformation in Dawson from the first visit. We continued to work with Dawson how Brenda taught us and he no longer has any of the above issues and is a great, extremely spoiled dog!Thanks again Brenda, because of you we are always getting complements on how well behaved our dog is and he comes everywhere with us.

I have a rescue dog who became highly reactive with lunging and snapping. I was unable to have anyone in my home. I signed up for Bark Busters and was assigned Brenda Ray as my trainer. On our first session, Brenda was able to instruct me on how to manage my dog and I was able to have trainer in my home with no reaction from dog......all on day one. I have an Australian Shepard, 6 month old male. He listens selectively, pulls on his leash but is dopey and super friendly. Brenda came over to teach me some ground rules on how to work with him in the house, and so far instant results! less pulling on his leash, starting to get a little better with recall. Still work to do but sure Happy I called!

I'm in my 60's and own my own financial company. Never have I felt taken advantage of as a 'senior' who pays out for a service without return, including belittled as spoken to as a child. The waste of an investment for my beloved companion who has anxiety, and a barking concern when he cannot see loud or distributive noises in his proximity - over $1k. With the first visit I was excited to learn and experience the options available to help him relax and overcome what he was going through. With open eyes I was told it was all my fault as I was enabling his behaviour. Still I was willing to see how I could help my boy. Received some ineffective 'bark stoppers' haha and a small dollar store spray bottle that never worked. The collar and leash are usefully to this day, however I was instructed to always leave both on him when he is in the yard and run after him and step on the leash when he is getting 'out of hand' - oh that works great in the snow and ice when we were doing our training (Mid to late December and through the winter). Requested a second visit 'LIFE TIME WARRANTY' - and received a 10-15 minute visit (got to go to another appointment) again being told I was enabling him. Oh by the way I'm going to the Caribbean for a month".... So helpful for an expensive 'professional' service!!"

We have a 90lb mastiff rescue who has been challenging since we picked him up. Aggression, not listening, pulling on walks, unstable and unpredictable behaviour, etc.We were hesitant at first about dog training and didn’t think his behaviour would change even with a professional. We were quickly proved wrong with Brenda as we got results within 20 minutes of her being at our house.We thought we were doing everything right and “training” him properly but we quickly realized we were doing it all wrong and Brenda gave us all the tools and information we needed to do it right.Brenda is very friendly and professional and the results we achieved within the first week are amazing. In one session, Brenda corrected door-rushing and other bad behaviour with our FOUR dogs that we’ve been unable to correct for YEARS, even having hired professional help before.She is patient, encouraging, and we saw immediate results. From our reactive dog (who is NOT a fan of our new puppy) to bad door manners with guests and a bunch of other things, as long as we stick to what Brenda has taught us we have more control, much more confidence, and better behaved HAPPIER dogs.Thanks Brenda!!!!
