Peterborough Pet Memorial

I recommend Peterborough Pet Memorial a lot! Other services by bigger companies seemed very impersonal and vague in helping me understanding their services. Two vets I reached out to said they work with Gateway all the way in TO! That was much too far to send my pet after they passed away. I also had no guarantee when I would be receiving my pet's ashes (they said I MIGHT be able to get her back in a week).Then I found Rachel in ptbo! Rachel was kind and understanding and answered every question me and my family had. She personally drove our pet's remain to Thistledown. Our pet's ashes was returned to us in 3-4 days in a very nice urn and we got a few keepsakes from Thistledown (clay paw prints, ink prints, and an engraved tag). Rachel was also very timely and was available 24/7. I called 2 days ahead of having to put my ferret down, and she planned everything out perfectly. I have no doubt that she would be able to help in urgent situations too. As soon as our ferret was put to sleep, we left her at the vet, and Rachel was there within 30 minutes to pick her up.Rachel gave me a phone number and I was able to text with her for updates. That being said, she was quick to text back answers and updates. Peterborough Pet Memorial definitely made a very difficult time for my family so much easier, we had no worries or doubts about our ferret being mishandled. My ferret was the first pet I've ever lost, the first pet I had to put down, and the first pet I had cremated. I was very lost about the process and at time going through a lot emotionally. Rachel took on all of that for me and I could focus on my pet and my family during a difficult time.If you are on the fence about it, give her a call! She got back to me the same day and was very friendly :)
