We dealt with Jarvis back in February/March 2019 after our kitchen flooded. Initially when their person came out to look at what needed to be done, we were told they would rip up floors, take out cabinets, dry everything up and everything would be great. The first time they were scheduled to show up, they no showed. After being given some excuse when my husband called, he was told they would be out the next day. The next day came and they no showed again due to snow. Once they finally made it out, they tore off all toe kicks for my cabinets but that was all, set up two large fans and an industrial dehumidifier. The dehumidifiers hose rand to our sink so my husband placed a dish underneath it. They came back in two days to check everything, did nothing and left. On the third day, to our surprise, in three days there was no liquid in the dish. No we had had about 3 to 4 inches of water in our kitchen, how was this thing not sucking up any water? They came back on the third day and took all their equipment out, my husband mentioned there was no water in the sink and they had nothing to say about it. Four months later, our contractor ripped up the floor (something we were told Jarvis would do) only to find water that had been sitting all this time. Our insurance company paid them $2,200 and we paid $200 for a service that did absolutely nothing. They did the bare possible minimum. I would be very hard pressed to recommend this company and if I could have given zero stars, I would have.
