Chase was the ultimate professional. He was on time and responsive. He went through the detailed report with pictures. He took the time to explain what he found and how to maintain the proper function of things like the fire place, crawl space, and air filters, etc. He sent the detailed report within 2 hours of completion. You can also use Venmo which is easy and convenient. I would highly recommend Chase to anyone looking for a home inspection.

Chase did the inspection for a home we're purchasing outside of Washougal. He was thorough, detailed and prompt. He is obviously very knowledgeable and gave us really good and useful feedback on the property. Would recommend him to anyone.

Our realtor suggested Chase Edmunds and he met us at the home on time.I followed Chase from room to room and all around the outside to watch and learn about this future home. Chase is a patient and amazing teacher with a broad knowledge of all facets of home construction. He examined each detail and explained the deficiencies as well as areas that are benefits. Chase is methodical in his approach with copious photos and explanations. His written report was detailed with precision and included laymen terms so that it was useful to us as non-contractors. Chase Edmunds did a home inspection for me on the home I now live in. Chase failed to check the individual wall mounted heaters in the house. As a result when I turned one on for the fist time it got bright red and the motor burst into flames within 20 seconds of turning it on. It turned out that the heater was a 110 voltage heater and the wiring is for 220 heaters. I thought ok this is a one off situation. No all the heaters in the home were set up this exact way. When we had the ice storm Thursday we needed the other heaters to turn on as well. They all burned up and cought fire immediately. We could have lost our home and even worse my families life’s. He has a million excuses of how it was not his fault and how it had to be someone’s fault other than his. Well it wasn’t. If you want an honest inspector who will check everything this is not your guy. We are filling a malpractice suit. I have the original report from the inspection and again Chase is not being honest, None of what he says is in the report. I would be happy to share it with anyone who cares about the well being of their house and family. Just ask me for a copy. Also the seller of the home has confirmed that the wrong heaters were installed by a third party prior to chase doing his inspection. Chase Edmunds made a mistake, he refuses to take responsibility for what could have been devastating loss of life and home. And you are so dishonest I was not present during the entire inspection. I came about half way through it and left before you finished. Even the realtor knows this as she was there. Also why is none of your reply in the actual report? Use someone who will inspect your home properly! Chase is not the guy.

We found Chase to be very thorough and knowledgeable in his assessment of the house we purchased. He was very helpful in identifying problem areas which required remediation. In short, it was a pleasure dealing with someone who really knows their business. He is also very personable and could answer our questions in terms we could understand. If we need any inspection, we would use Chase.

We contacted Chase to see if he could do a quick look under the house for leaks and he went above and beyond. He checked the water meter, crawl space, attic, windows and more. Not only did he do that but he explained everything with such detail and was very easy to understand. He even gave us several tips to help us with the moisture issue in our house and was overall very knowledgeable! Will definitely be keeping him in our contacts if other issues occur.
