perfect place to find affordable household necessary basic stuff

I came here on a Monday morning at 9:30am I had 2 items that would come to $5 total I only had a $50 bill and the cashier wouldn’t check me out because she didn’t have change for a $50 bill? I just left my stuff at the counter told her it was weird she didn’t have change for a $50 bill and went to zehrs and purchased the same items. Great way to loose money and customers- how does a big company like dollarama not have change for a 50?

Wow..amazing experience with dollarama shopping. Loved the beach mat for $5. My kid loved the cotton candy and other toys which we got for affordable cost.

It started off as a dollar store, but now they carry things up to $5.Ever changing selection of goods. I stop by practically everyday. The staff and management are so attentive, caring and listen. The line ups go fast. They staff are quick to call for help from other associates working in the store. It's nice to have a friendly dialogue with the staff and management. Shopping at this particular store always brightens my day!

I really appreciate how helpful the staff here normally are. It's hard enough to find what I need as they got so many selections but somehow, the staff all seemed to know where things are. If they don't, they ask each other and try to help me out.The other morning, two staff members helped me and they found the same thing stocked in different places for slightly different use. But it was HOW LONG the first staff member who kept looking around to help me that I was very impressed with. She could have easily passed the buck to the more senior person, but she kept on helping. That's a great attitude. My experience has been this level of helpfulness every time I visited this store.Dollarama's might all be about the same with about the same product, but this one stands out a bit because of the staff's really nice attitude. I hope it stays like this permanently.
