Fun School

We have loved our experience with Fun School. My son was there from 22 months old starting in the first or youngest room. He finished JK and SK there. We absolutely loved his experience at Fun School. My daughter is there now. The teachers are incredible, support staff and admin. The outdoor time, kindness and love shown to our kids is exceptional. We always love hearing what our kids had for lunch, snacks and if they went on a walk or created a new craft. Highly recommend Fun School for anyone looking for care in Port Credit.

Unfortunately, the new supervisor (Sonia) who has replaced Pia is disorganized, unprofessional and a poor communicator.Last year, when Pia was still the supervisor, my daughter was in their kindergarten summer program and it was a great experience. The team was fantastic! The teachers enjoyed having my daughter as a participant (they said they wish she could stay for more than just summer) and based on this positive experience I put myself on the waitlist in August 2022 so my daughter could return for summer 2023.Since summer program registrations begin in February, I reached out to FUN school to ask about the waitlist status. At first I was told they weren’t sure because they were short on staff but shortly after I received an email saying there’s a 90% chance my daughter would get a spot and that they’d let me know mid February (which was about a week later). I didn’t hear back by mid February and had to follow up, and I was told, they just needed one more day. I waited a few days, but nobody followed up, so again I reached out and Sonia asked me to give her a call.I spoke with Sonia on the phone and at first she confused me with another parent, I had to explain that I was not looking for a permanent spot, it was just for the summer program She asked me a couple questions to clarify and said quickly said yes, my daughter would be able to attend the summer program. Sonia said she would send me the registration/allergy forms etc. and that it’s unnecessary for me to pay the registration fee because I had already paid it last year. I was so happy and relieved my daughter would be returning to the summer program.I received the email with the registration forms then quickly completed and submitted them. When I emailed the forms, i summarized what was discussed in the call, included the start/end dates and I asked for Sonia’a confirmation of receipt. I didn’t get a reply to the email with the program information, instead . someone responded to an older email just saying “Thank you!” without signing their name or acknowledging the registration status. So I sent a follow up email asking to confirm the registration details, still no reply.I waited a couple more weeks and followed up again explaining I was concerned that I have nothing in writing and that there’s no payment holding my spot and in the past the process was more straight forward,m. I asked that kindly acknowledge my email/confirm my spot because other summer programs are quickly filling up. Still no reply.By mid-March, I ended up having to scramble to find another summer program because Sonia ignored me and sadly most are at waitlist now. As a single mom, it is very stressful. I was unable to get a summer program close to home and I’m frustrated/disappointed that Sonia is inconsiderate and unprofessional. It is important to have registration confirmation in writing and if she was unable to confirm, she should have been honest that they were still not prepared for the summer program. Instead she was stringing me along while they were trying to figure things out. I guess I shouldn’t have ignored the red flags (i.e. poor follow through, confusing parents, asking to speak on the phone but not providing written confirmation via email). I really regret putting my faith in Sonia.I will say that the Assistant Supervisor, Marina is lovely and professional, it’s a shame she didn’t take over as supervisor after Pia left because I’m sure she’d do a much better job than Sonia. Additionally, there were some nice teachers at the school, but I can see why they no longer work there.

My daughter has had nothing but positive experiences at Fun School since starting there at 15 months old. She is in the daycare program, which offers extended hours (7:00am-6:00pm). The staff is caring, experienced and are always willing to provide feedback at the end of each day. Staff are constantly encouraging children to reach their potential as learners and as developing members of society. Highly recommend the daycare program, and I have friends who have children in the kindergarten program and they rave about it!

I can't recommend Fun School enough. 2 of my kids are enrolled at Fun School for a year now. Pia and Marina are very welcoming and helpful. Ms. Shelley, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Mandeep, Ms. Kayla, and Ms. Michelle are all caring, friendly, and professional. Although the wait was long to get a spot, it worth the wait. I'll keep recommending Fun School to all my friends in the area :)

Our family loves Fun School. The teachers and support staff are amazing, and provide a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment, where our daughter has thrived for the past two years. Plus, the daycare hours are perfect for working families who need the flexibility. We highly recommend Fun School!

We have been at Fun School through the toddler, preschool, and kindergarten experiences. We cannot speak highly enough about the care the teachers offer the children. The staff truly care about our kids as though they were their own. The kids get plenty of variety throughout the day, including lots of outside time. The food is significantly better and more varied than what we have ever offered at home and the staff go to great lengths to accommodate any dietary preferences, health issues, or allergies.The kindergarten program in particular has blown our minds as parents. It has been worth every penny. We look forward to our younger child meeting the age requirements to attend as well.

Truly the best preschool/daycare in south Mississauga. The teachers and staff are caring and nurturing, the premises are clean and safe and they are exceptionally allergy aware. The kindergarten program includes French and has provided my kids with the best possible start to their school years... and it's FUN! I can't recommend FUN School highly enough.

A great day care! We sent both our toddlers here our first from 15 months - 5 years old and our second at 24 months during the pandemic. We can’t say enough great things about the attention to cleanliness, nutritional needs and the warm environment the teachers provide for the little ones. I’d give double the stars if I could.

We love Fun School! We had two kids go there; one just graduated from SK and the other is still there. The staff is great and we really like the play-based learning. Both our kids have so much fun there and learned a lot. Would highly recommend!

Both my kids have gone to Fun School. I love the staff, teachers and programming offered. They have handled Covid so well the JK and SK program is so incredible. We absolutely loved our experience.
