These stores have one good thing they stock pretty much any kind of food for wild birds and wildlife. That said however... they are real pricey compared to Walmart etc. They do sell a really great hummingbird feeder they guarantee forever!! Just bring in the broken part and they replace it free!! The feeder is also a breeze to use!!

All the bird houses, feeders I get from home depot break, these ones dont. And the food is better

A $34.82 lessonShortly after Christmas, I went to Wild Birds unlimited in Langley, BC, To buy bird seed and a feeder. I was very clear about the fact that I had seen this at a friends house and was fascinated watching the birds so wanted to know what to buy because I knew nothing about it except the seed was treated with black pepper so as to not attract other species. i asked if I needed a feeder.The first suggestion was a mesh sleeve and i could knot the top to hand the feed and therefore not need a feeder. That looked to me like a disaster so the sales person suggested a $10.99 wrought iron feeder and a plastic plate to fit on it to hold the seed.Next she recommended the no mess seed cylinder. At the time, this was not available in the medium cylinder, only the small puck and the 5 lb cylinder. The small one looked very small compared with my friend's so I went with the 5 lb. Total purchase just under $52.At no time did the sales person say this needed anything to cover the seed or to be under cover when hung outside, or that I should have a mesh sleeve to hold it together because it was going to fall apart when wet and fall apart it did.The store suggested bringing it in and they would have a look at it and see what they could suggest.When I went back, they suggested buying a mesh sleeve and a cover to go over the feeder and they would give me a small seed puck.After two trips to langley and a lot of frustration, I looked at the small cover they recommended and thought what real difference would that make, more good money after bad, I declined the offer and they refunded the $10.99 feeder and the $7.99 plastic plate (less the 15% discount everyone gets), I hope they found a use for the 5 lbs of crumbling bird seed I left with themI guess I should be grateful for that and yet I am left with a strong feeling of disappointment and loss of trust.

Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Great selection of products to appease all, from novice to the serious. And a big wings up from all my avian friends who love your stuff! Cheers!

Great store for all your wild bird needs. An amazing assortment of foods and feeders feeders etc.Plus the owner is amazing and her staff are always super friendly and helpful...all very knowledgeable

Staff are knowledgeable and willing to take the time to educate those interested in attracting birds to their yard. They have a wide variety of seeds and feeders with other little decorative items to make your yard look pretty. Prices are decent and products are good quality.

Great store for all your birding supplies. Also for bees and squirrels too. Great assortment of quality items like feeders and poles and food and bird baths as well as specialty items like stuffed animal hand puppets, socks, cards. Very friendly and super knowledgeable. Jen is awesome. She even calls me by name when I come in. Cute resident cat, Mel. Great service.
