BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

As an international student, I didn't expect to feel an Indian religious touch if I didn't visit this temple.I really feel calm and peaceful every time I went to visit the BAPS temple in Windsor.Must visit once..

Nice temple. It is like all Swaminarayan temples. This temple is in a shopping mall and very easy to visit. When I visited the temple, it was late afternoon and there was no one else. One person fruition the temple have me information about upcoming Diwali celebrations. I am planning to go again soon.

The volunteers here are very sweet and welcoming. The atmosphere here makes anyone feel welcome, and the sacred images inside the shrine are breathtaking. This place is the perfect location for one to visit and become stress free. Definitely come for a prayer assembly and bring your children, they hold activities for children every Sunday. This is a beautiful Mandir inside and out!

This is marvellous place for any age. Adults finds peace in the main hall while kids can learn in the classrooms. Best thing is that kids can learn Gujarati for free. Very dedicated volunteers makes this place symbol of unity.

I can’t explain in words. I feel blessed and spiritual my self when I am with my temple. Everyone must attend prayer meet every Saturday of week. Excellent seva from Younger generations to meet knowledge of Swaminarayan Religion and Guru Parampara.

Todays was my first visit.I totally love the place,A really Home_vibe, being surrounded by own peoples so far away from home is an awesome feeling.The time fled by really fast, I didnt realize where two hour sabha got over.The prasad later, was really fantastic.

Spending time in this temple every Saturday is now routine for me. It felt like we travelled to India and experienced its culture through satsang sabha(Weekly Assembly).Weekly assemblies were begun in BAPS Swaminarayan Mandirs by Yogiji Maharaj(4th spiritual successor of BAPS), reinforcing the tradition of regular discourses and kirtans as begun by Bhagwan Swaminarayan.An assembly, commonly called 'satsang sabha,' begins with a prayer followed by kirtans. Spiritual discourses by sadhus and learned devotees are based on the Vachanamrut, Swami Ni Vato, or other scriptures. Youth and kids often present religious and philosophical concepts by enacting dramas. There is also separate assembly for kids at the same time. In addition, they are providing dinner(mahaprasad) just like home for people at every Saturday after Sabha.Best place in Windsor......very peaceful place .Week assembly time:-Students(Yuvaks/Yuvatis)(approx 16-25 YO):- Sunday (1:30 p.m -3 p.m)Children:- Sunday (5 p.m -7 p.m)Elders/Sanyukt:- Sunday (5 p.m -7 p.m)

This is the temple where people can find peace and blessings from God. This place is accessible for every person. Volunteers are organizing the Sabha at every Saturday for people and most of for students who are living here and narrating in manner that they are going to right direction not in wrong side. In addition, they are providing foods just like home for people at every Saturday after Sabha. Hope and faith are always getting here.
