Alex Huang who was my funeral director, exuded an exceptional level of professionalism and calmness during the funeral arrangements for my father. He answered all my questions attentively and quickly. He went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and family. The overall level of professionalism displayed by the entire staff was exceptional.

My brother passed away in Vancouver. I and my family are from Saskatchewan. We traveled here to BC and our first contact was Adam. He never communicated with our family and made us wait 4 days before saying sorry he was on days off!We never got a meeting to discuss arrangements or make any decisions before being told our bill was 8000 to 9000.We still haven't had a meeting but we have an enormous bill..Your staff really took.advantage of my family during a very sacred time. I will continue to leave reviews so indigenous people know not to use your services..

Glenhaven Chapel and its Directors are the worse people I ever met in my life. I will never forget how I got treated by its people after the death of my son. especially Robert whatever his name is ... talking to me standing while I am sitting , leaving me in a room full empty caskets as grieving mother, secrets meetings behind the doors between directors while unattended.. to name few... worse people never to trust with the body of my loved one. Thanks to Mountain Pleasant View Universal Funeral Home for the compassion and professionalism, we got the most beautiful celebration of life there . I would never recommend hastings location Glenheaven Chapel.I will have to spend time in counseling room to get over them.

Laura and her colleagues were very helpful and Laura was patient in her dealings with our questions and was very timely with answering to our requests. She was respectful and resourceful and we recommend their services should there be a need. The facility was very well maintained and everything turned out beautifully.

Told me there was no charge, for them retrieving my mother from hospice care. When I didn't use one of their companies, they held the body for a $400 payment.

Our family had never gone through this before and Alex from Glen Haven made our experience so comforting. From my first phone call speaking to Thomas my grief and sorrow was treated with great respect and dignity. Our service was only for 9 of our family members, but when we walked in to Glen Haven so much care was taken that we felt hundreds of people were to attend. We were able to say our final goodbyes to our dearly loved brother in a place that treated him with respect and dignity. We thank Alex and the team that took care of him from the bottom of our hearts.

I highly recommend Alex and his team. They were very professional and took great care of everything. Alex guided us from the beginning and made it easier for us during this difficult time. He went above and beyond for our special requests for my father's Buddhist memorial service. It was very much appreciated. The webcam was a plus. Our relatives could watch the service from the States, Taiwan and Japan also to save the video afterwards. All went smoothly thanks to Alex and his team.

I met with Alex to make arrangements for my mother’s service back in January. I cannot say enough about my dealings with Alex. Alex was caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and took the time to explain each step with me. He also added special touches at the service which I did not think of. Alex went above and beyond in assisting me, always quick to return phone calls or emails. Glenhaven Chapel and facilities are exemplary. Top notch.
