We had Bridal Beauty do hair and makeup for my wedding. Deanna and Emily were fantastic. We were so lucky that they were willing to do just a “bridal party” of 2, because many other salons wouldn’t take us! My mom and I both looked incredible on my special day :)

I booked Bridal Beauty back in 2019 and finally had my wedding in October 2022. I also wanted to note that the makeup artist who was supposed to do my makeup on my wedding day cancelled due to an emergency, so Lisa (the owner) ended up taking her place and doing my makeup.Pros:- They were very accommodating of our wedding date change (we postponed our wedding day twice due to the pandemic).- They were punctual and showed up on time the day of the wedding.- They are efficient; myself and my bridal party were actually ready early, which helped reduce my stress levels.- I was content with my bridal hair and makeup. The makeup was done well and I didn't feel rushed.Cons:- They are difficult to get a hold of. Throughout the few years of communication I had with them, my emails often went unanswered or I had to follow up after a week or more of not hearing from them.- I had to call them 1 or 2 weeks before the wedding to set up the order for my bridal party and determine a start time because they weren't answering my emails.- They did not bring foldable chairs for hair and makeup (I assumed that they would, considering they advertise as a “mobile” company). We had to ask the desk employee in the hotel for extra chairs.- 3 out of 4 of my bridesmaids who had makeup done ended up redoing their makeup afterwards. They told me afterwards that the foundation wasn't blended and the eye makeup was messy.- One of my bridesmaids asked for soft, neutral makeup. She also requested no black eyeliner or black eye makeup. The MUA applied black eyeliner and bright, Barbie pink lipstick (which she ended up washing off).- Another one of my bridesmaids (and sister-in-law) is half Jamaican, so she has a darker complexion. She washed off and redid her foundation because the colour they used on her face was way too light. She even offered to use her own foundation because she knew that the MUA's foundation was going to be too light. She was really upset by this.- The last bridesmaid to get her makeup done later told me that Lisa did her makeup and seemed angry. She said she felt like she was trying to rush through the makeup application and seemed annoyed to be doing her makeup. She also asked for false lashes and was willing to pay the extra cost, but was told she couldn't have lashes.During my trial, I had asked for the MUA to not go light on the makeup. I love makeup and the last thing I wanted was to look “natural” on my wedding day. On the morning of my wedding day, Lisa (the owner) pulled up photos from my makeup trial and told me that the makeup was way too dark and heavy. Instead of asking me what I wanted, she suggested something lighter and I agreed because it caught me off guard and I was overwhelmed. She ended up doing lighter, more natural makeup, when I wanted something dark and moody. Looking back, I felt like she pushed her personal opinion of what she thought would look best instead of listening to what I wanted.I do want to acknowledge that the majority of the negative points were experienced my bridesmaids and are not from my personal experience. I was unaware of my bridesmaids’ experience until later on, as they were careful to not complain or add unnecessary stress on my wedding day. Although I did not personally witness a lot of the negative points, I trust that my bridesmaids would not have complained afterwards had that not been their true experience.I thought their services were adequate. Being the bride, I was content with my overall look and services, but I feel awful for my bridesmaids because I wanted them to also feel beautiful. They paid a lot of money for the services and were unhappy because they had to quickly fix or redo their makeup, and were left extremely disappointed. If I could do it over, I would have done more research and chosen a different company for my wedding day.

Lisa and her team made my wedding day dreams come true! This team listened to me to make sure my hair and makeup made me feel beautiful, taking care to make sure my hair and makeup stayed on point well into the night - without any touch ups! I enjoyed my experience with them so much, I’ve stayed on as a client at Lisa’s hair salon. I am so grateful to this team for making me feel beyond gorgeous on my wedding day!

My wife hired Lisa for our wedding back in August and went above and beyond. Lisa was very accommodating and made my wife's day stress free with her make up party. They we're on time and ahead of schedule. My wife was extremely happy with the whole experience and would recommend Lisa and her team in a heart beat.

I understand that for SOME businesses your wedding day is just a job but for each and every bride it is their one special day. This was by far the most stressful part of my entire wedding. Not only was communication horrible they cancelled on me 3 weeks prior to my wedding without as much as an apology. I am sympathetic to small businesses during this time and I tried my very best to make it work with bridal beauty but honestly from one bride to another do yourself a favour and stay far far away.I booked them over a year in advance and in July I called them to check in. I was told they couldn't make it work because I had too many people who needed hair and make up done. This number was the same as it was in September of 2020 when I made the booking. Thankfully my venue was able to make an exception for me and let us in early due to the fact that all the arrangements I was suggesting were being rejected by Lisa. Now on to the trial. Let's just say it was the worst hair experience I've ever had. I have attached a picture of what I received. The hair stylist didn't even use a flat iron! She told me that she would do better at the wedding. I immediately emailed Lisa and asked her to call me on the following Saturday to discuss. Again, due to lack of communication on her part I had to be the one to make the call. That's when I knew something was going to go terribly wrong. She never apologized for my trial or how it made me feel (I went home and sobbed) and when I brought up vaccinations/passports that's when everything fell apart. She lied to me and told me the venue needed to see negative tests to enter the building. I spoke to the person at the venue and she never told them that. I understand that a business doesn't have disclose if they are vaccinated or not but personally I made it rule that my guests be double vaccinated to keep everyone as safe as possible. I was told by Lisa that I would have to pay for all the testing for her employees and only one was fully vaccinated. The next day I was cancelled on via email and received a portion of my deposit back. They kept my trial fee and admin fee. I tried calling but of course no answer. As absolutely stressful as this was something amazing came from it. I found the hair and make up companies that went above and beyond my expectations and made me, my bridesmaids and mother/mother in law feel GORGEOUS on this special day. The Bridal Beauty team did an amazing job for my bridal party. They made each on of us look amazing. I even added three new guests (They took it on with a smile) OH-AND they let me buy the lipstick. A girl needs to refresh the lips.They were on time, professional, and a fun group. It felt like they were part of my party and good friends there to make each one of us feel special. Really AMAZING - They really made my mom feel good. After 6 rounds of chemo she just wanted eyebrows. The gals did more than that. They made her feel gorgeous.Lisa personally too care of me (the bride).. I am not a young bride, but I sure felt like one. It was truly a special day.Thank you Lisa and Team.

LOVED THEM!!! I had an amazing wedding day thanks to bridal beauty. From them accommodating my wedding date change from 2021 to this year there was no issue. They always got back to me over email as soon as possible, usually within a day or two which was awesome. My trial was awesome and both Emily and Cayley took very good care of me and were detailed and precise with my hair and makeup. They were also very kind and asked for feedback or if I wanted anything changed which I appreciated. The wedding day went so smooth I couldn't believe it. Probably the best vendor I had the entire process of planning a wedding lol. They showed up right on time, got my girls ready and beautiful in good time and they were all fantastic. Lisa and her team are so incredibly nice and knew exactly what my girls and I needed to look our absolute best! They even put on the new Taylor Swift album for me because I was obsessed with it lol. Overall, I could not recommend this company more. They are skilled artists, professional and they definitely understand how to keep their clients happy (and relaxed on a very stressful day!)
