Dr. Robert Schweigel

I have recently seen Dr. Schweigel for a knee surgery to remove a piece of metal (broken scalpel blade) from my last surgery that had been left behind in the joint and he was very rude and gave me instructions to bare weight and go back to my regular activities until I was starting to get an increase in the pain and swelling to the point I've had to be seen in the emergency 2x post op and I called his office and they simply told me he forgot to mention that when he removed the piece of metal that it cut through a ligament and he didn't mention this to me until 5 days post op so I would not recommend him at all! He doesn't have a very good bed side manner either

Dr schwigel is excellent. He did my knee surgery wonderful.i never face any problem

Receptionist is extremely rude.

Receptionist is so rude, hard to believe she is in customer service. Made us feel very unwelcome as soon as we walked through the door, as if it was an inconvenience for us to ask a question, even though our doctor sent us there to do so. All we needed was a couple simple questions answered. This is nothing to do with the doctor, just his ridiculously rude receptionist.

I've been seeing Dr. Schweigel for years now with my knees with OA. He has done one knee surgery on me which healed well. I now see him for regular lubricant injections in both knees every 6 months or so. He is very professional and easy to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone. Everyone at the cast clinic where I normally go is great.

Dr Schweigel and his staff are excellent. He listens and explains options and helps you make an informed decision. His bedside manner is great. I would highly recommend him.

I had surgery on my hip. I found Dr Schweigel to very informative both pre surgery and post surgery! He takes the time to explain and doesn't rush you.He also follows up after surgery! I highly recommend him!I also found his secretary to be very nice and is always pleasant. While waiting to see Dr Schweigel I have observed her with other clients and she is always professional and caring!

I had a total knee replacement on may21, 2020. My visit with dr. Schweigle before the surgery was very informative. He did not rush and explained everything to me. At the hospital, the day of my surgery he came to see me in pre-op and explained what to expect. He came to see me the day after the surgery to see how I was doing. I find home to be very caring, informative, excellent bed side manner and a great sense of humour. I would definitely recommend this doctor.Also his receptionist, Ashley is great and very personable. They have a great team there.Thank you dr. Schweigle for giving me my quality of life back. I can now walk pain free. Lynn OConnor
