Cascade Shops

Love this mall food was great. Went to drug store and did some shopping.

This poor mall is slowly turning into a dead mall and boys oh boys the Elevator smelled like something died in it. The only thing keeping this place going is the Restaurants.

Kinda of disappointing compared to the past a lot of vacancies. Are the rents too high? Hopefully when the construction is complete new shops will appear. The businesses in the space currently could use the extra foot traffic with more shops to browse.

This mall isn't dying, its dead. The food is the only thing keeping it standing. Aside from the restaurants and food court, this mall" consists of a pharmacy

A bit disappointed with this mall. I thought there would more shops and restaurants but still a nice place to eat.

I wish they had kept chapters and kept this mall fun I remember it being cool as a kid now it's just a husk

Beautiful building! Lower level food and pharmacy. Ground level is mainly Canada Goose and Ardenes. Newly added Canadian Brewhouse changes atmosphere completely. Offices on third floor and a multi floor parking garage attached.

Dying mall that has lost its charm. Cascade shops in banff used to be a fun mall with almost every store filled up with some cool places to shop and some nice outdoor theming which has recently been replaced by a more modern look that makes it feel like any other ordinary shopping mall. Due to covid and new ownership, the mall has seen tenants leaving left and right, and last summer, when I went, it seemed like there was a 50% vacancy of stores. They now have got a few more stores and canadian brewhouse to join their selection of tenants, but there is still a larger than normal vacancy rate and I don't think there is much this mall can do to save itself. If this mall wants to succeed in a tourist town such as banff, it needs some way to differentiate itself from the larger shopping malls just an hour down the road in calgary. Like bring back the theming that made you feel like you're in banff and more local stores, then these businesses you find in every single shopping mall. And if possible, get at least one big name store to open up in the concourse level of the mall and advertise it all over the outside to draw people in. Without an anchor tenant, no one is coming into the mall. So honestly, in my opinion, there is not much reason to shop here. Just check out all the other local businesses banff has to offer.
