Pro Funds Mortgages

My wife and I have been investing with Pro Funds for seven years, across eight syndicated mortgages, a trust, and a REIT. I have never had a missed interest payment.They're a great choice for patient investors, who will park funds for multiple years, and passively collect income.

Beware of investing with ProFunds! On the surface, ProFunds seems very professional (reputable podcast & TV show, many well-known real estate professionals partner with ProFunds) which prompted us wanting to diversify into mortgage investing. There were multiple touchpoints, communications, and reach-outs from ProFunds upfront to receive our investment when they need our money to raise capital, but the moment they received it and the investment timeline started, there was zero communication & transparency and it has been near-impossible to receive our principal after the term ended.We signed up for a 6-month investment timeline which has turned into 15 months (approaching 1 year after the term end date!) with no notice, update, or acknowledgement. I've sent (no joke) 20+ emails to our ProFunds contact and only ever receive a response once every few months with no update, and have called our ProFunds contact 10+ times with no pickup or callbacks. In addition, now that it's tax season, there has been no communication on when we'll receive our slips to file taxes - most companies have sent out tax slips 3 weeks ago and there hasn't been a single update. Note that while all of this lack of communication and transparency is happening, we're still on all of the mailing lists to raise more funds/invest in future projects...Think long and hard about using ProFunds for investing as you will be in for a hard time getting your principal back or any form of updates/communication/transparency! We would have been understanding of timeline delays if ProFunds was honest and responsive about what was happening, but with literally no update on a significant amount of invested money, we don't know if they even have our money.I've seriously considered involving the Better Business Bureau. We had high hopes to use ProFunds as part of our long-term investment strategy, but this experience has eroded any trust we had in their company and brand.

Pro Funds is a great investment company offering opportunities with excellent annual returns paid monthly.Thanks Sara for being professional and always returning my phone calls and explaining in details any of my questions.I am very happy that I found Pro Founds, a company I can trust.I will definitely continue to invest in Pro Funds investments in the future.

I'm very disappointed with Pro Funds. I have invested in one of it's project back in 2017 initially two (2) years term and expecting to get my RRSP savings back principal plus interest, enticing return on investment. Unfortunately, project didn't work out as planned and got halted for whatever reasons. Full Payout has been scheduled back in 2020 but didn't happened. I received partial settlement back in 2021-2022 and never heard back again and no update todate when I should be able to get the amount due including interest accrued from my investment. Better put your hard earn money in a secured and trusted institution that you can rely on especially when you really need the fund in a very dire situations. I really feel scammed by this company.

This is the best investment management team I have dealt with in the last 10 years. Family run, honest, and staff that cares on a personal level. This is a stark change from typical investment companies that treat you like just another number. It is the nature of any development company to have changes and adjustments to investments, but this team communicates and updates you every step of the way.

My wife and I have been investing with Pro Funds for many, many years and have never been disappointed with the great returns we have been receiving. The service is always professional, courteous and the customer service we have received with Patricia (Trish) Peirera has always been perfection. She is always available to take on all my questions and assists with any concerns I may have. If I leave her a message, I now she will always call me back with a smile.We will continue to invest with Pro Funds for as long as we can. Forget the bank rates or crazy stock markets, Pro Funds rates are AMAZING. Pro Funds Mortgages is a great organization that has delivered promised returns on all deals that I have ever invested in. They are professional and very responsive. Sara and Carmen have always responded promptly and have answered any questions that I may have had.

I decided to invest with ProFunds over 7 years ago. After numerous investments over the years, this remarkable track record of successful investments continues, even during tough economic conditions. As a president of an investment company, I absolutely understand that investing always carries some level of risk, and it's impossible to guarantee that no investor will or ever experience losses. Carmen and Richard would have something to say about that.I had an investment from out of Province which was brokered by Profunds. After careful due diligence and market and borrower research my company decided to lend funds to the borrower. All seemed well until the borrower defaulted in their payments. Now, being out of Province etc I turned to Carmen and Profunds for assistance. Once again, Profunds brokered the deal and that was their involvement and I understood this role. Nonetheless, Profunds stood by their investors and went beyond their roles and responsibilities and assisted with this investment all the way through the court proceedings. Lawyers were hired by Profunds on behalf of the investors...again....Profunds were only acting as brokers for this deal and were transparent about this role. This didn't matter to Carmen and Richard as for them, this was about maintaining the integrity of their company .After the court proceeding and all those who needed to be paid first were paid, there was a shortfall with investors principal . What did Carmen and Richard do next? They GIFTED the loss which was incurred by the investors on another project that ProFunds were 100% involved and in control. Not only did we recoup our principal, we made an incredible return.This company has been able to provide such amazing and excellent service, successful investment opportunities and effective risk management strategies. I can't thank both Carmen and Richard enough for their loyalty and standing by their word.

Profunds mortgages has no cash to pay me after maturity. After calling every week and crying, the person in charge told me 3 weeks ago that they have no cash to pay me. All money is invested.My term expired on June 3rd, 2023, and today is July 12th, 2023.I started writing and calling since March that I want my money back. Only false promises, not cash.I written numerous emails to Carmen and left messages, no response. Please help. What do I do?
