I was referred here by the Ottawa Hospital, and I am so thankful.They really took the time to make sure my little guy was taken care of, and gave us the resources to make feeding a lot easier

Visited a few resources for breastfeeding etc in our early weeks with our little guy. This was our least favourite. The staff spoke to us like we were idiots and the doctor didn’t do what the midwife had referred us for. Was a waste of time at a time when you are already soooo tired.

I had an amazing experience at the Monarch at the Bank location. The staff has shown a huge deal of empathy and not a one size fits all approach. They offered great support and solutions to help me with breastfeeding that was tailored to my needs.. This made my partner and I's transition into our newborn's first weeks much smoother. Strongly recommend this place!

Excellent service! The nurses and physicians are knowledgeable, supportive, and friendly. I will be forever grateful for the support they provided to me and my newborn baby after our discharge from hospital.

Been there 3 times. Twice with my first baby, and I went yesterday for my second. They gave us the appointments at very short notice. They never made me wait (always admitted on time), they realise I'm coming with a newborn and im already overwhelmed.The staff are always very sweet , caring and accommodating. The nurse yesterday also helped me change and dress my newborn as I was overwhelmed and in too much pain from my csection.Last year the nurse helped me carry the car seat as I couldn't (because I was also in so much pain then).Their lactation consultants took their time to teach me how to nurse last year. They answered all my questions and concerns. They didn't rush through the appointment.The doctor there is also very nice and knowledgeable and really cares.I am really impressed by their service ;)Excellent resource for new parents.

My Issue with this clinic is not the Physicians or the Nurses but it is the disrespectful clerk. Imagine being snippy and rude to a new mother on the phone all over trying to reschedule an appointment and then telling her that if you need to cancel we will not re-book you at all! Real compassionate….. frankly if the Doc wasn’t so good I would give this a 1-2 star.

Had a bad experience at the monarch on bank st location, took my newborn today, everything (the exam) was rushed. The dr examined the baby on a couch in a tiny room. The couch wasn't covered by anything, didn't look sanitary at all, at one point during the exam the baby’s face was touching the couch.

Manager named Allison was very rude to me because of an appointment i told them i couldn't make in advance. She said we are not giving you anymore breastfeeding or mother care only checking your childs bilirubin levels. Unbelievable the way she was talking to me as I am a new mom still recovering from giving birth!

Great experience with doctor. It’s evident a lot of thought and care is involve there.Unfortunately, Terrible receptionist interaction. Hung up on my husband the first time he called.Had to call multiple times to get necessary information from receptionist. Very evident she does not care.

I personally had a wonderful experience at the monarch clinics after a somewhat rocky birth. I was taken aback by the level of care, concern and empathy demonstrated by the nurses and drs at both locations. I felt like a solid plan was put in place and that follow ups were scheduled promptly. I wish I would have had this service for my first child and think every birthing parent should have access to these services. I felt more supported then what had been provided to me in my family dr office for the past several years. Thank you for the wonderful service and keep up the excellent work!
