Store looks great no issues that way. HOWEVER, is this Dartmouth or Toronto. Fans of franchises that aren't Toronto Maple Leafs have to choose from 2 or 3 items and you will leave disappointed it's blue on blue on blue. A far better job needs to be done to keep stock on other teams.

Beyond frustrating experience with customer service today. Called twice to arrange for the pickup of a custom jersey that was already purchased. In an attempt to avoid personal travel to COVID zones I asked a friend to pick it up. I provided the name of the individual doing the pickup and was assured it would not be an issue. 15 minutes later pickup was refused to this person because they did not have the receipt. Although, they had all identifying information (jersey, name, #) and I had been told twice it was no problem.

Great place for all your hockey needs, and some others. I have always had friendly staff ask if they can help, even if waiting on another customer. No high pressure, just courtesy.

I have two boys playing minor hockey and Pro Hockey Life in Dartmouth Crossing is my go-to store. Great selection, great stock, great staff, a very nice and organized store layout. It's a bit pricey sometimes, but it's owned by Canadian Tire and Canadian Tire companies are well known for moving product with good sales and promotions. So, be patient and wait for good sales.Also, I have all of our skates sharpened at Pro Hockey Life and they always do a VERY good job. A you can buy a skate sharpening card with 10 skate sharpenings and save some money. I always wait for the sharpening cards to go on sale and purchase a couple of them (and then I'm good for the year).

They have the best selection in the Halifax region for hockey equipment by far. Lot's of stick selections. Skate sharpening aswell.

Had a good experience with the young man working the skate department this past Sunday. Although it was busy and just him working that area, he did well to communicate that he would be with me once wrapping things up with another customer. He took the time to size my feet, explain the best fit for my foot type and present me by options. Between sizing, baking skates, grabbing sizes he provided great service while being run off his feet. Even made sure I could get them sharpened before the store closed.My only complaint is the lack of women's/ female selection at the store. Was hoping to get a new pair of jill shorts but they only had two in stock, both XS - disheartening to see the lack of availability when there were at least 50 pairs of jock shorts (an entire wall) to choose from for men. The women's clothing section also pretty non existent and hidden in the corner behind the kids stuff. With Halifax having the largest women's hockey league in our province I would think Pro Hockey Life would be able to provide quality products for both men and women / boys and girls equally. I hope this is something you consider improving on down the road.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about their product and don’t try to over sell you. Large selection in store and online and some ok sales at times. I feel the prices could be a little lower, especially in junior gear. Sometimes have to wait a long time for service when buying skates. Skate sharpening service is top notch!

Dismissive and unprofessional staff couldn't be bothered to answer a few questions about their own services. Every time I visit this location, staff (including the manager) are unpleasant and curt.
