Dr. Nancy Heath has done miracles with our Lucy. She takes time to deal with Lucy's allergy issues, gets right on the floor with her and does such thorough and gentle exams. She calls weekly after our visits to see how she is, to discuss options for continued meds, and gets us through 'bunny season'; Lucy's worst enemy is bunny dander. At eight years old, our boxador rescue is happy and healthy, thanks to this Vet and the clinic.

The care they provided our dog on short notice was so amazing we ended up switching to Helmcken Vet full time.As horrible as it was that we eventually had to put our Winston to sleep, the compassion and care made the experience as humane and pleasant as possible. The vets made every effort to save our guy and never felt like they were trying to sell or push services not needed.When we are ready to adopt again I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Kwan and the team are so professional and caring. The experiences we have had with both of our dogs have always been so comforting. We never feel pressured to have unnecessary test done and their care for our animals feels genuine. Dr Kwan is an amazing doctor and funny, too. We truly appreciate the time she takes to explain everything so clearly to us. We would recommend this vet to anyone.

I wish I could rate this place 7 stars out of 10. The wonderful staff at Helmcken Vet were so kind, helpful and attentive to both me and my dog, who just met them for the first time yesterday. I have been hesitant to go to a vet for a long time after a few bad experiences with my dog, and they made us feel so comfortable. Every staff member was kind, greeted us with a smile and were helpful with my dogs needs. Dr. Levesque was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and personable.Thank you to this team!

We have brought 4 pets to Helmcken Vet Clinic over the last 5 years and the service and care given at this clinic blow us away all the time. From follow up calls, check ins, and “patient” care, they are all caring and professional and go above and beyond for their clients and their fur children. They don’t over describe treatment or tests, and are very minimalist in their approach. We appreciate that with our lemon of a cat. Our last clinic constantly went overboard on treatment and unnecessary extras. The staff at Helmcken are familiar faces which shows that they treat their employees well. Glad we found this clinic and we will keep coming back as long as we have critters.
