Harker Foot Centre

I had double bunion surgery with Dr Harker. I was able to get in on a last minute cancellation. The after care i received was amazing. I have been a patient of Dr harder for 6 years and would recommend him to anyone. Just like everything in life sometimes people don't gel well together, if this is the case then you should find someone else. I read someones negative review on Dr Harker but as I dug a little deeper it didn't seem that they had anything good to say about any business they had dealt with! Besides we are all entitled to our own opinions and I have been very happy going to this foot clinic :)

I had bunionectomy by this doctor last year and ended up having to deal with a bone infection that was just diagnosed today for over a year. Now I am facing several weeks off of work due to having an IV antibiotic infusion for several week as well as having to see an orthopedic surgeon. If I lose my foot because of Dr. Harker he better lawyer up because I am taking him to court

Before coming I called to find out how long my appointment would take. I was coming from out of town and thought it would be nice to bring my dog along to go for a walk after. It was quite cold out so I didn't want to leave him in the car long. I explained this to the receptionist (if it was going to take too long, I wouldn't bring the dog) and told her I couldn't be leaving the dog in the car for an hour so needed to know. Was told my appointment would take about 15 minutes. I arrived on time, waited in the waiting area for 15 minutes and then another 20 in the room. Finally popped out to ask how much longer it would be. Was told he had just gone in to see a patient and then still had another before seeing me. Couldn't leave the dog in the car that long so said I would have to leave. When I said that was quite a long wait considering I had an appointment I was told that That's not a bad wait time. He's a specialist." That makes no sense to me. I can see having to wait weeks to get in to see a specialist but once I've booked the appointment it makes no sense that I should have to wait at minimum an hour for a time you gave me. She then told me that I could always book an appointment for a less busy time. How is there a less busy time?? You are the ones booking the appointments. If you can estimate that an appointment would take approximately 15 minutes

I’ve been a patient of Dr Harker’s for a couple of decades and I have always had a great experience with him. Both as a podiatrist and just in normal conversation. I recommend him for sure!

Dr. Harker has been wonderful to work with over the years. His humour, professional manner or personal care and concern for me, I have always been impressed with him as a doctor. He has done several procedures and orthotics for myself and my children. I would recommend him to anyone seeking professional care.

Dr. Harker was awesome with my elderly mom… she was super nervous to have bunion surgery but he did a great job and he was always upbeat and easy to talk to. She just finished her final check up appointment after 6 months and she’s thankful she did it.

DR .Harker is loosing devotion in patient care, Has definitely lost his manners in treating with intend to heal. I asked for surgery TO be ASAP, this did happen, but one excuse after another, I did research with hositpal and did discover surgery was available almost every weekday! Secondly promotion of costly over priced orthodontic foot wear, Expensive non-referral Fees, injection Fees (guessing where to put needle?, $5.53 available @ drug store) , photocopy x-rays too dark to determine , (non member of netcare) , sloppy dressings and cleaning wound after surgery. Post surgery visit evaluation is based on fees rather then meaningful health for the patient. HIS Vanity super cede his morals! beware of these details and dont let him persuade you into some you dont need or want, IN GENERAL, would i have surgery again,with DR.Harker? NO NEVER !!!! There are better DR.'s out do your research, avoid disappoint and learn how to detect these problems

Late October my feet started to hurt real bad so my doctor had referred me to this dr. He did an xray, simple blood tests & charged $425 for insoles" which turned out to be 2 pieces of foam glued together

I struggle with anxiety to immense levels at times (especially with physician's). Going to Dr. Harkers office was a relief. The staff were all friendly and polite. The Dr himself was wonderful and gentle on some very painful spots. I've rebooked further treatment from him and his staff. I look forward to it being just as well tolerated as this trip.
