Monga Fried Chicken (艋舺雞排)
Loving the made to order fried chicken here! First off, it's huge, soso juicy, perfectly seasoned, and crispy! My favourite is their Cheese Fried Chicken, it has a thick blanket of melted mozzarella cheese and a layer of sweet tomato sauce beneath!

7/22/2022: Ordered Takier and fried chicken skins. The chicken skins were delightful! Nicely fried and crispy. Not oily at all. The Takier was crispy and meat tender. Really enjoyed it. Cannot believe how big it is!

Located inside the Aberdeen square food court. Ordered the taiker, it was good, but I've had better. The batter isn't as good as other places. Also expected it to be boneless, which it was not.

Do you like crispy, delicious chicken? If the answer is yes, the Monga's Taiwanese Style Fried chicken is a must try. Haven't had made to order fried chicken in a long time. We split a 2 piece fried salt and pepper combo and also an adapted Chicken parmigiano style breast. The fried chicken was well fried, maybe could have done with a minute or two less, but it was still delish. The cutlet style breast was a lovely combo of fried crunchiness and saucy/cheezy savoury sweet gooey goodness. It is bone in, so use caution if you start at the boneless side. The portion would be great to share, it was a little overwhelming for one. Will be back to sample other flavours.

HUGE FRIED CHICKEN! The fried chicken at Monga was bigger than my hand! Wow this was one delicious piece of fried chicken. It is boneless and the batter is light and crispy, with a dusting of spices on top.The chicken was juicy and flavourful. Definitely a hidden gem in Aberdeen Square.

This place fried chicken is so crispy, and juicy. I didn’t expect the fried chicken to be this good. And thought $11 for a piece of chicken was not worth it. But i was wrong, the $11 fried chicken is worth it. I have to come back three times in a week because I couldn’t have enough of it. The chicken is so juicy in the inside and the outside was so crispy to the point that even reheating it in the oven still taste as good as it was hot on the spot. I tried three flavor of the chicken: the salt and pepper, spicy and the cheese. I would recommend the spicy one if you can eat spicy. The cheese was a bit too heavy for me. Overall the fried chicken was large enough that I was quite full from it and couldn’t finish. So really worth the $11. It’s a must try on my list.

Monga Fried Chicken (艋舺雞排)
So we finally had the chance to try Monga Fried Chicken. The thickness and juiciness of the chicken cutlet are very impressive. Unlike some stores who pound their chicken meat in order for it to look bigger, the ones served at Monga are thick and you can see every strand. The thick chicken meat makes the otherwise thicker batter seem paper-thin. I really enjoyed the spicy flavoured chicken cutlet, but the seaweed flavour need some work.

Amazing taste and flavor. They don't call it The King for nothing! The chicken is so crunchy and juicy, and it's a nice large piece. This will definitely leave you satisfied
