My mother recently visited Dr. Marcy Cowan to have her large toe nail removed as it had become lifted up right to the cuticle and was painful and starting to become infected. This was my mother's first visit, as Dr. Cowan had come highly recommended by a former patient (who had moved out of TO).Dr. Cowan was extremely considerate and patient with my mother who is very hard of hearing and was frightened that the procedure might be painful.I cannot say enough praise for the skill and expertise that Marcy demonstrated in removing the toe nail - all without causing my mother any pain whatsoever. Marcy explained what she was doing at or before every step and provided verbal encouragement to my mother along the way. I could see that this was very relieving and reassuring to my mother.I was provided with a very clear, thorough and easy-to-follow post care plan and a script for a topical antibiotic to ensure an infection didn't develop in the days following.My mother (and I as her caregiver) highly recommend Dr. Cowan whose bedside manner" is only superseded by her skill and professionalism. We will definitely be returning if/when any other issues might arise with my mother's (or my!) feet!Also

Outstanding service. Marcy is very knowledgeable, helpful and a great communicator. She immediately diagnosed and rectified a months-old problem caused by a negligent ER doctor, and did so with minimal fuss and without overselling. Thorough follow-up and reasonable fees. I couldn't be more impressed.
