High Park Trackless Train

I would give 0 if I could. Waited with my young son from 12:05 pm to 1:05 today for the train at this stop, and it was nowhere to be found. Called the number at around 12:30 and was told it should be working"."

If you want to see high park in 30 mins, then try taking this train ride. it costs 5$ for adults and 4 of children and seniors. Its a tractor trailer converted to look like a train (hence trackless). Nothin out of the world but easier than walking all around the park in a short time. You are allowed one full trip from the point you boarded. I hope they made it like hop on hop off, but weekends may be busy and probably they don't want same customer to take multiple trips. The train stops at multiple points in the park. On weekdays its less busy compared to weekends. Its mostly closed during winter and at times goes through inner trails where your own car might not be allowed.

We visited High Park Zoo many times and never took the train. This wonderful 30 minute ride around the park is made for children of all ages. Tickets are $5 or if you feel 65 or older it's $4.

Decided it would be a good idea to go to high park for my daughter's 4th birthday. She was most looking forward to the train ride unfortunately and it never came. We waited 1hr at the stop, called the number to confirm the train was still running and she said it was, just that it did an oil change but should be at the stop soon...another 15-20mins..still nothing and you can imagine how restless and bored my daughter was for waiting that long. Eventually just gave up and left.

Waited for the train for 45 min with 2yo but no train! Very disappointing and frustrating! Called 3 different numbers no one responded. We came to the park specifically for a tain ride.

Horrendous. We used the train today. We got off half way round on our one permitted stopping off. We waited on our pick up to continue out trip to the start of the park we waited an hour and one train went past with the driver waving saying No pick up. The girl taking the money tried to ignore me when I shouted, we have been waiting an hour! We have my elderly mother, who walks with a sick and now are stranded in the middle of High Park. It had stared to slightly drizzle, but it was drizzling when boarded the train and they took our 13 dollars. I would absolutely avoid this at all cost. They are terribly rude and no customer service whatsoever.

We enjoyed our trek to high park today. We took the train around the park , it’s nice but they need to at least have a microphone so we can hear the drivers comments, the least they can do because the train ride is not free. Just saying. Also consider not all park visitors are local.

I showed up at the train stop at 10:30. The sign there said the train starts running at 10:30.. There were already a bunch of other families waiting when I got there. By 11:30 I finally gave up and left as the train still hadn't shown up. All of the other families had given up by then as well.

Driver of train pulled into bike lane to drive downhill and gesturing to pass him despite already travelling the 20km/h maximum speed limit. Wreckless.

No commenting in park information, and no pointing out things. More so for a quite ride, also stops very often which can be good.
