This spot can be quite busy so if you do plan on coming, do expect to wait for a bit! There’s a reason why it’s busy, and it’s definitely worth the wait.Tried this place with 4 other friends and we ended spending about $30 each! That is a great deal in my opinion. We all split the Beef Bulgogi Hot Plate and one order of the Twinkling Chicken. The beef Bulgogi was super tender and flavourful, the portions are huge as well. The staff was also super attentive despite being a very busy restaurant.Highly recommend trying this place!

The prices are super good esp when you’re sharing. It’s a nice place to hang with friends if you’re craving korean cuisine!! The servers were nice and helpful, as they helped us cook our food! The chicken was good, I just wish they gave options of boneless/bone-in. The mozza sticks, fries, and fried tteok were yummy with the sauces it came with. I love the side dishes as well. I’d come back here :)

It was a lot of food for two people but loved it. You have to get two servings of the meat minimum and we added on glass noodles and cheese.DO NOT wear white. The hot plate splatters as it cooks. Thankfully we got to sit outside since your clothes will probably end up smelly if you sit inside. The waitress cooks the food for you but it ended up getting pretty burnt cause we were eating slow but definitely coming back to try more.

Certain items on the menu are super good. I typically come here every week or every other week. However, the service is quite subpar and inconsistent. Sometimes, I've had amazing service and sometimes, simple requests are not even met. I came in last time when it was not busy, there were over 7 tables & booths that were available and I asked for a booth. We were denied a booth as they are only for at least 3 people, not 2. Under normal circumstances where they are extremely busy and the wait time is an hour plus, I would not mind. Trust me, I have waited for over an hour to get a table and have not minded whichever table we were given. However, on a day where they were not busy, I don't think this is an unreasonable request. In general, wait staff don't typically come around to check on the food much and it is a struggle to flag them down. They typically just walk right past to be honest. Overall, the food is great but the service & hospitality could use some improvement.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! If I could describe the dish here with 2 words, it'd be those two. The food came in very fast, and was carefully, making it ever more appetizing to my eyes before digging in! The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions were generous. There was plenty of pork belly, beef, and octopus in our meal! Cheese was added at a reasonable price as well making it one of the best combinations I've tried (I love melted cheese). Afterwards, we combined our leftovers into fried rice which made it delicious to finish off!The servers tending us were attentive and friendly, and offered to cook our meal (even though the restaurant said it was self-service). The atmosphere was nice, with dim lights and a casual vibe. The only drawback was that depending on where you're seated, you could end up somewhere near the door which could mean you'll feel a breeze during the winter at least.Overall, the food was great, service was awesome, and the atmosphere was inviting! I will definitely be back and hope you visit them as well!

This location is much better than the Coquitlam one. The servers are friendly and take the time to ask questions, make suggestions, and provide guidance. The food is delicious; I especially recommend the tteok bokki. My only issue—and one that I had with the Coquitlam location, too—is that they advertise a multitude of drinks they don’t actually offer. My friends and I chose to come here so we could have some cocktails, eat good food, and catch up. My friends tried to order a mojito and a long island iced tea, only to be told after a 5-minute delay that they can’t make them (no explanation why). They then decided to get some white wine, only to be told again after a lengthy delay that they didn’t have any. They said they only had a few beers, red wine, and soju, despite their menu offerings. My friends ended up ordering water, which was disappointing.

The taste of deep fried chicken was honestly just not that bad and okay but assorted sauces and tempuras were really nice to have with beers for dinner. Servers were overall nice too.

Unique Korean BBQ but took too long to be ready. We got the octopus and pork belly hotplate. The food took over 20 mins to come out despite the fact the it was raw and needed to be cooked in front of us. Overall we waited close to 40 mins before it was ready to eat. And rice was not included and costed extra.

A small but well-run Korean style restaurant. Newly renovated and modern. Our server was particularly good, with emphasis on checking in with us during our meal. We split a spicy chicken BBQ dish and a full order of fried chicken to split between 5 people and it was ample food. I recommend ordering their yogurt soju to pair with your meal. It's not a strong alcohol but a nice way to balance out the spicy savory meals that this place has to offer. Highly recommend coming here, but be prepared to wait if you're coming during peak times.
