John at Able Chimney Sweeps, was amazing in diagnosing my fireplace smoke issues. Very professional and I would recommend to anyone.

We hadn't used our fireplace for many years and were concerned about using it without a clean and inspection. He came bang on time, took a look, and determined that all was well. He even taught me a thing or two about operating the flue! As he was already in the neighbourhood, it was no cost! There aren't too many companies around who are this honest, friendly, and helpful! I would most wholeheartedly recommend them!

Six star communication, service and professionalism.Very impressed with John and the team at Able! They were recommended by a fireplace company to clear out our 1911 chimney. They only charge if/when the job is complete. Communication and timelines were impeccable. Cleaned up after themselves. Would highly recommend without any hesitation.

From start to finish a great job. Great care was taken to avoid any mess. The flue was cleaned in a little over an hour and they even did a small repair of the cement on the refractory brick at no extra charge. Thanks for sterling service, John!

I called a few places in Calgary inquiring about an WETT Inspection and unfortunately this was the only company that returned my call!I booked a service almost a month in advance and when the day came I couldn't remember what time my appointment was for. I called the office to confirm and was told when they would arrive. To my surprise they were ahead of schedule and came early.They two techs came in and did a great inspection and cleaning of the fireplace in my new to me home. They also got on the roof and checked the chimney.In the end we got a great report back and some helpful tips on keeping things running smoothly through the winter. The hearth was left cleaner than when they arrived and they were in and out in no time.I will be calling again for a cleaning when the time comes and I hope we get the same great guysThanks so much!
