The examiners will make sure you fail even if it means lying and inventing new things that other examiners contradict. Apparently road signs don't matter in the summer and we must only follow them in bad weather conditions. One try on parallel parking apparently because even if you do it perfectly the second time, it won't matter, you will lose points. The examiner has a bad attitude, phone ringer on full blast while taking the road test (no distractions on the road please), and will make stuff up in order to guarantee a fail. He will insult you and makes you feel terrible. They should record road tests so that someone can prove their unfair treatment. I will never return even if it's just to use the washroom. I will let my friends and family know to never come back either, unless they are the same race as the examiners.

Terrible Terrible registry if not the worst one in edmonton. Lineups are always bad and work done behind the counter is extremely slow. And then there are the examiners namely Rajesh Kumar and Balkaran both are extremely rude and very disrespectful especially the balkaran guy maybe he’s taking his frustrations out on new prospecto drivers because he is balding or some issues at home maybe but this guy when he’s examining is always on his phone and is extremely rude.

Examiner number 11171 is very nice instructor. I pass my road test in first attempt as the examiner is very polite, professional and clear to give instructions. Highly recommended.

Don’t bother going there. I thought I’d give it a second try after the following year. First time people were lined up out the door. One lady had budded in and there was a big loud argument going on. I waded it out after 45 min. The second time the following year, it was mid week after lunch hour about 1:20pm. I phone ahead and ask if it was busy. The lady said no. I get there in 7 mins. There were 53 people stuffed in the room waiting to get registered.

please save yourself your time, money and confidence and avoid going here! If I could tell everyone in Edmonton this advice, trust me I would. They are extremely terrible here. I wish I could give them negative stars. I have never experienced rude workers like I have at this registry. I thought the workers must be having a bad day because there's no way they could treat people like this... nope they treat people this terribly everyday. Oh and do not even think about taking the road test here, you might as well just take the money and shred it. Examiner 11601 needs a reality check, new attitude, and probably some real glasses to replace those sunglasses that distort his vision. His phone ringer should be turned down to avoid distracting the new drivers and he needs to realize that he's not my dad so there's no need to be raising his voice and giving commands with an attitude. He is not mister worldwide examiner, he's examiner 11601. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Pay the extra gas money and go somewhere else cause you will be wasting your money anyways. I wish I could have filmed my test because then I would be able to dispute and prove him wrong. If I could go back in time, I would go to a different registry the first time I've ever needed their services.

It's amazing I have pass my road test in first attempt because the instructor 14050 instructions are very clear and he was very polite behavior with students . So I highlyRecommend it.

Worst Registry ever , worst experience as a newcomer to Canada. I am a sikh guy and they asked me to remove my patka. They are in an area where there are lots of sikhs and they don't know the difference between a patka, turban and a cap/hat. I got the same photo in my patka accepted for CoPR letter and they denied me a Driver License just because I cannot get a picture in patka for the license. Some sikh agency should make them aware about this knowledge , especially the old lady working there.

Worst Centre ever, failed me for doing uphill parking by Chinese examiner, he is racist and mean did not allow me to do my right to 3 chances to fix my mistake again. Avoid this center ruined by Asians and Indians. They will collect money and fail you.

The staff are pretty kind. The problem is the long line ups. Doesn't seem to be many staff up front on the times I've been there. It gets an average rating for me at best. Not the worst registry, but not a super positive experience either. More so in-between realistically speaking.

I went for my knowledge test and cleared the same on Saturday because I was not having my documents I was told to come on next working day which was Monday with one ID and my home country license so I went on the next working day and the other employee told me to bring my all the status documents, I already showed him my Alberta ID which had my permits and passport uplaoded but still he wanted to see all of my documents I am not able to understand why I was told to bring my Alberta ID if all the documents are still required in the process this is so irritating and waste of time to visit the ragistry again and again for a small work and wait for half hour just to know the documents required and other person tells you to bring more documets there is no coordination between the employees and each person has its own set of required documents for the same process.I was very disappointed with the service of this registry.
