The landscape is special compared to the other part of bc. View is definitely beautiful, and not too many people as well.

Be careful hiking here after hours, we had a coyote pack move in on us, got out of there quickly. keep your eyes on your dog if he is off leash as they could lure him into an ambush.

Valleyview Nature Park
Valleyview nature Park is a hidden gem. Park at Valleyview Arena and head North to access the trailhead. There are quite a few different trails to explore. Terrain includes rolling grasslands and hills. Good place for dogs too. Try Rim Trail if you want some pretty cool scenery or Coyote Crossing if you want a bit more challenge. Watch for ticks!

Great local hiking park. Its unfortunate that so many dog owners leave their bags of poop everywhere but still a great place for a hike.
