I saw the negative reviews and just wanted to counter some of those. I have never had cause to question the work that has been carried out on my family or business vehicles.The changed the lug nuts on our last vehicle and found one or two of the new ones were losing the outer metal coating so they swapped them all out again, with better ones, at no extra charge.Front desk ladies are ALWAYS pleasant, never in too much of a hurry but quick and efficient when they need to be.Really, I have learned my lesson with switching vehicles from one garage to another because I always felt something about the service was off"

My truck engine seized while towing a holiday trailer near Eckville and rather than have my truck towed all the way back to the city I had the work performed by Performance Tire & Auto. I procured a remanufactured engine myself and they did the engine swap. Afterwards I had a check engine light came on for separate issue (P0299 turbo underboost) and I took it in to my local shop in the Edmonton Area where they notified me of a cracked oil pan that was gooped with silicone, an oil leak coming from the vacuum pump (where they found a reused gasket that was also gooped with silicone), bundles of wires that were not tied back properly and had begun to melt where contact to the turbos where being made, and a leaks around the Oil Pan (which is being covered by the long block remanufacturer).Performance Tire & Auto management have not taken responsibility for the poor workmanship, the damage to the oil pan that occurred during the engine repair and then was then covered up, or the reused gasket.

Friendly staff, attentive, answers questions in timely manner, great mechanics, way cheaper than going to dealership. Great job!!!

Friendly service, good prices, and the car wash is really good. Open fairly long hours, and they can get pretty much any part you need.

I took my truck there to get the injectors and water pump done, as well as a valve set and a drag link installed. They were very accommodating getting my truck in and the work done. After getting my truck back I had discovered a fuel leak from the return line on the back of the engine. They took it back and stated there was no leak, yet there most definitely was as it was dripping diesel while running in my drive way. So that wasn't fixed.. I also found my intake gasket by the battery, the intake was metal to metal.... Traveling lots of gravel this could have resulted in dusting my engine and seizing it solid. I ended up taking my truck to another shop to get the fuel line tightened (quarter turn) and the gasket replaced. This company has done lots of good work for me, but I'm rather disappointed in the last job and can't say I'll be back.

I privately purchased a car in Eckville and it came with winter tires, the winter tires were located at this business. The previous owner told me that all his tire work had been done here. I went to change my rims and tires from the summer to the winter ones and found that one of the nuts had been over tightened and went through the rim and cracked it. I found that all the lugs had been over tightened. I went to the local dealer to get a new lug nut and found that this company had put the wrong lug nuts on the rim!!!! I understand that accidents happen so I contacted performance tire and told them the situation. The manager told me that she couldn’t do anything about it and said that she would get the owner to call me. The manager was unaccommodating and full of excuses. The manager told me she let the owner know my situation but it did not concern him enough to call me back.All in all they cracked a rim and put the wrong lug nuts on the vehicle which put me and my family at risk. I’m lucky that no one got hurt.If I were you I would not take my vehicle here for any service they do not care about customer safety or having qualified people working there.

Was thinking of taking my jeep there to get my winter tires off and put on my summer tires. Called to get a quote and the lady on the phone couldn't tell me a price and also told me she's not sure if they do that there and to call back the next day and someone else can answer me. Was a little skeptical after that answer...After reading reviews I won't be stopping by to get anything done there. Sounds like hell waiting to happen
