Absolutely incredible is all I can say. This is as close as you can get to being in Japan.. BUT BETTER. The fish quality is incomparable. I can't wait for them to open their new location! Thank you!

I had a great experience. I appreciate the minimalist and traditional approach that the chef took. Fish was very fresh and delicious. I personally loved the scallop and white shrimp. It’s a great and affordable intro to omakase if you haven’t had it before. Would highly recommend.

Tiny hidden gem that seats 8. Amazing fish selection. Preset menu per person is about 80$ for 11 nigiri . Vibe is abut like that of a library -_- ....Chef has little to no personality but alas , it’s about the food. Very little feedback from chef . Makes one piece at a time and beautifully at that. Nice sushi experience .Chef adds a tad too much salt for my liking. No alcohol. First 9 pieces were wonderful but last 2 of mackerel and eel were not my fav but that remains personal to each. You can order more after from an extensive menu of fish most have never heard of. But your choices will remain a guessing game as to which fish you order because an amazing selection that 99% of other sushi bars will never have . Worth the experience but reserve ahead !

Really great experience. Definitely not your average sushi spot. No booze, just tea. You first get 11 courses and then can choose some extra nigiri when you’re done. The Uni was amazing. The eel was also incredible. Any of the Tuna was delicious. Everything was more exotic and fresh from Japan. Great service. Very intimate setting. Not cheap but a really unique experience. Highly recommended. You will need reservations, 100%.

Sushi was fresh and good.However, the service was dry. When I go to Omakase I expect an intimidate service. During the approx.1hour experience, we only informed about the menu and the names of fish. It would be better if we get more information about fish at least.

Amazing omakase experience. It was me and my girlfriend’s first time at omakase and we were blown away by the experience and the quality of the food.We got to try a lot of different fish that we never thought about having and some even ended up being our favourites.After the omakase course we were able to order single pieces of nigiri with additional cost.The experience was very professional and somewhat strict. The chef was very professional but lacked a bit of interaction with the guest, which would’ve enhanced the experience more.Overall a very good experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to try an omakase for an affordable price!

I and my sister had a great time in there. I had to reserve a month in advance.Ingredients are very fresh and well-aged.Although it takes a hour from start to finish, i recommend having dinner in this place. It is one of the original sushi places in vancouver.

Amazing quality ingredients and authentic experience. It was wonderful being able to see our sushi being prepared in front of us. The Japanese uni and bluefin tuna o-toro were melt-in-your-mouth DELICIOUS! Would highly recommend for any sushi lover.

An absolutely awesome introduction into omakase service. The price is worth the experience. Because you are really paying for the experience and stellar quality ingredients.You have to book online and make a reservation. And I would recommend doing this well in advance especially if your party is large.I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a sushi experience. Prices per peice of sushi range from $8-20 after the $90 service of 11 or so peices of nigiri.
